The Hyatt Grand Central provides the perfect location in midtown NYC. Being able to jump on the train or subway attached to the terminal makes getting around so easy. This was our third time staying at this Hyatt. We use to be loyalists to the Lotte Palace a few blocks away, but slipping service and standards forced us to look for a new base when in NYC. While it is not in the "luxury class", you will find a no nonsense friendly, clean and well appointed hotel. There is a gym and a lounge that serves full breakfast and hearty food in the evening until 10:00p.m. A special acknowledgment for Christina in the lounge. She is so friendly and personable. She is there everytime we visit and we enjoy catching up. They have security in the lobby at the street entrance requiring showing your hotel key. The reception at check in very efficient and friendly. We were in a clean, quiet room on the 32nd floor within 5 minutes. The room was so quiet we forgot we were in nyc. Very comfortable beds. No loud doors banging or kids running loose. I highly recommend the Hyatt Grand Central. It checks all the boxes for a great NYC experience.
