Element Harrison - Newark

My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for just one night at the end of a 12 day lacrosse tourney and showcase adventure. We are from Portland, and my daughter has never been to NYC before. I had asked ChatGPT to help me find a hotel that would be close to EWR and also easy to get into the city so we could make the most of our limited time there. As soon as we arrived, Alex at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful. He helped me secure a later checkout with my Bonvoy rewards account, and when I called him from the parking garage, tired and confused on where hotel guests were to go, he immediately ran out and helped me. I also discovered a parking ticket in the 5 minutes I left my rental to go check in and then return to move it to the parking garage, and both Alex and the property manager were incredibly gracious and called the police department and took care of the ticket for me! Amazing service! Then, when my daughter and I were both to head out for our evening adventure, the other front desk clerk wrote out instructions for us to get to Times Square, after I showed her what Google maps had told me to do. The customer service is incredible, all the staff were warm, friendly, and exceptionally helpful. Then to the accommodations: we had a 1 bedroom suite, with so much space, we wished we had that set up for the whole trip. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean, and I was able to do her lacrosse laundry on the 2nd floor for $1.75 per cycle. The breakfast was nutritious, delicious, and so lovely! They had nespresso as well as fresh coffee, juices, berries and Greek yogurt, egg bite frittatas, someone making fresh scrambles to order, and someone constantly refilling and tidying. The lounge areas were spacious and elegant and they had complimentary beer and wine hour. If we ever come back to visit, there is nowhere I would rather stay. It was 40 mins by path and subway to Times Square, and about 25 mins to WTC. We were there for less than 24 hours but the Element Harrison and the staff there made it an exceptional stay!
