There was some kind of St. Paddy's day thing going on and the major chains wanted an arm and a leg to stay there. We found this place for 55 and under normal circumstances that would have been high, but in was $100 cheaper than anywhere else. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and the HVAC worked well. The room need a lot of renovating and the owner said it was in the process. No bugs there at all......... yea!!!

Worth the cost

After experiencing trailer trouble  we found ourselves in need of a pet friendly room at the last minute. After booking online, we arrived to find a very nice man at the front desk. That was, however, the only thing nice about the place.  The room was in desperate  need of a deep cleaning,  or remodeling.  There wasn't any hot water other than a 1/4 inch stream from the sink. And after taxes and pet fees, we paid nearly  $80 for this!
Unless you simply cannot make it another 20 minutes,  go to Texarkana to the MOTEL 6 

Nice people,  terrible hotel 

The only thing that will fix this place is a wrecking ball! We went and bought our own sheets and blanket with pillows along with Lysol and Febreeze. It was supposed to be smoke free but you could smell the smoke in it and there were cigarette ashes in the bathroom. We paid for 2 nights but only stayed one. The mini fridge and microwave definitely needed to be thrown out! Will never stay here again!

Better off in a tent!

The staff was nice. The water was hot and it was a place to catch a nights rest after a long day of traveling. Those were  the only good things.  It really needs updating. The fridge didn't work. I did not take off my socks. The carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced.   Over all, I would not stay again.

WE WILL NEVER,NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.The key didn't work unless the managers little son came to open the door for us.The recliner was broken and we asked for another one,but was told that there wasn't another one.The water stood to my ankles while I was showering in the bathtub.The manager said that there werent many channels on the tv because of a power outage last week.She was right.Except it showed that the channels weren't subscribed to.To top it off,she proceeded to tell me that the deceased owner had been gay.The bed hurt my back.The only good thing about it was that it was awuiet,but that was because they didn't have many guest.
