I have lived here in the park for 4 years. I have been bullied and harassed by the Park Manager and the people around me. My husband and I are quiet people,we pay our lot rent and mind our own business. We like to be left alone. I have an older Rv that was approved to be allowed in the park by past management. Unfortunately, with this management,if you don't have a 50,000.00 RV and aren't part of the butt kissing club,you don't fit in, and the favoritism in here is crazy. I have had the park manager, Rita,beat on my door like there is a DEA raid about to go down, accuse me of being a liar, inform  me that she can kick me out at any time. The management here is ridiculous, trash over flowing, bathrooms not working, loud neighbors who do whatever they want if they have the money to back their behavior. I live in between a group of people who drink all day and are loud and obnoxious, think that they own the street and because I don't want to participate in that, I am reported for any and every little thing and the Management is happy to oblige with the harassment.

Don't bother

We stayed at the Sun RV Resort on McIntosh. We brought our RV down, and they were just the kindest staff!  The place was clean, and the people were friendly, and the staff was kind and courteous. In fact the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay or better people. You want to stay here!! 
 We will definitely be back on our next trip. This place is only five minutes from our relatives house in Florida.  It's  awesome!

The best RV park in Florida!

The good: convenient to I-4 but not right next to. Bathrooms, showers and pool looked clean. Water pressure was good. The people seemed nice. 
 Eh: sites were small but not ridiculous. 
Bad: They did not honor the site saving feature (but they did refund the fee). Instead of the nice, flat pull-though site I reserved, I got a back-in site stuffed perpendicular to three other sites. The site was so angled I had to pull the hitch off the back of my motorhome to pull in and had a half inch to spare to not take the hitch receiver or the sewer pipe out. I was glad I had the 50' electric and water wires/hoses for this stay. The towed vehicle baseplate scraped getting in and out of the site. Bonus misery was we were 5 feet from the playground, as in the kids, being kids, walked right through the site with one even asking when how long we would be there. Parents parked next to our picnic table, by our house door, to smoke. The cable TV connection was missing, which I only noticed when a party started in the clubhouse about 50 feet from my RV wall, hence the trying to turn on the TV to drown out the noise. The bass was cranked up so the point that the motorhome vibrated.
 Suggestions for the managers: only use site A6 for cab-over units or other 4-wheel drive vehicles. If there is going to be a party during the stay, make sure they can go to the party. Fix the cable connection. The wires hanging out should be a clue. Lastly, honor the site-holding feature or don't offer it. This felt like a "bait-and- switch. 

If you decide to stay here, walk over and look at the site before you park. There were empty sites available.

Great Staff

Great place. Customer service was great. Now the only reason for the 4 star rating is because the internet was not very good at all. But I will say that I paid a bit extra to the company that provided the service to the resort and the the internet was better. But over all this was a great stay. I would highly recommend it as long as you are not relying on this fact alone.

Great RV stay.

Being first time Snowbirds, we were cautiously optimistic about our decision to stay at Tampa East RV from January 1 to March 31 of 2021. We couldn’t have been more happy to have chosen this oasis. 
From the very first phone call to make reservations to the follow up call to see if they could accommodate us a few days early because we were trying to out run some inbound bad weather. The whole crew was VERY accommodating to the point of above and beyond the call of duty. Haylea and Sue in particular were the main contacts that stick out. This place is clean, friendly and just top notch. 
Our first site became a little muddy due to some persistent rain. When we inquired about getting a new site they didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. 
The park is working daily to upgrade their sites with spacious cement pads that really add to the experience.
We look forward to many more years of good life here at Tampa East RV. A big thank you goes out to the crew that is making our experience a memorable one.

First Time Snowbirds from Michigan

Sue Harrison at Tampa East RV Resort was more than terrific! I'm sure the whole staff is as good as Sue but she was so friendly and helpful with our situation and the changes to our situation. We live in the Midwest and we wanted to buy a used RV in Tampa therefore wanted it inspected by a certified RV inspector.  Sue helped us make sure we had a site that would work for the inspector and easy for us to find since we were arriving in the evening. We only spent one night in Tampa but Tampa East RV Resort was very nice. Thank you Sue. You're the best.

Very Nice RV Resort but even Greater Staff!

My wife and I parked up here in our Class A for a week to end the month of September. It’s right off I-4 at McIntosh Rd. Sites were well kept, facilities were clean, pool water sparkled and everyone, employees and campers, were very friendly. Rita and her staff were very accommodating as well, to the point of assisting me with a tow dolly pick up roughly 4 miles up the road from the park. I had left it behind during the Covid outbreak and was ready to retrieve it, but the property where it was sitting was too wet for me to get my rig on. A kind maintenance man named Andy drove me up in his truck to retrieve my dolly. We’ll be back next time were passing through Tampa!  

Very accommodating team

Amanda and Gloria in the check in office were awesome. They both went out of their way to help me. I would highly recommend this RV park to anyone. Looking forward to going back.  The service was just above and beyond

Tampa East RV campground office help

We have been coming here for six years, love this resort with three pools & activity’s. Manager of park is great! Workers are friendly and especially Serena! Always waves & says good morning. I only wish January and February could be around 80 degrees! Lol Close to everything you need.
