This place is hell. I had one visitor overnight which was my brother bringing me food money. When checking out the hotel owner snatched my keys with my stuff still in room anf told me I can't stay again because of traffic of one guest. Although I left the balcony open. When I checked in the room was tracked and I went to store and brought cleaning products and cleaned myself. Roaches and dust everywhere. Crack pipe on counter. Bed bugs. I saw the laundry man smoking crack behind the building. Bad Place. Prostitution is going on all in this establishmemt. DHEC needs a ring!!!!!

This place is beyond hope, shut it down. Stayed during #Florence storm, would never ever stay there again. Rate was  RAISED during storm (illegal) then lowered AFTER storm. 

No refunds given sign says. No ice machine (it has a phone and toliet seat inside of it!! WTF!!)  No phone in room. 

TV worked, AC/Heater worked,

Walls were dingy and dirty, carpet was dirty, could see under the bed had a used cigarette - (also they allow smoking if not in the rooms then outside in the halls) Sink in my room tended to drip. Towels had stains on them. Floor was wet - this is understandable due to the storm - but the laundry room that I looked in could use a huge overhaul - all of it could use a deep cleaning or total replacement of carpets, clean walls etc etc. 

Lobby is Eh. One woman was VERY nice that was at the counter, the rest of the staff acted like dead zombies who wanted to die again.

The room also smelled, the whole place did in fact, is this due to storm - well other reviews say no, and I'm inclined to trust them. Seemed like they only had one cleaning person for the whole place. Pool was empty. (not during summer, but it could be covered) Doors outside were sometimes propped open, and would not close all the way. Place needs central air/heat.

No food in lobby, just coffee. (that I heard was terrible) 
Don't go. Don't stay. Tell your friends and family to avoid this place. Report it if you see a price hike (I did).

Oh also the price is written in pen on a paper put on a sign... yeah super mega professional eh? I mean, its almost like the owner knows he is going to change it at whim... oh wait, he did.

Over priced, understaffed, rooms need redoing and better cleaning, (cobwebs!) carpets need replacing, lights could be brighter, shower door needs replacement, sinks need to be fixed. 

Only positive was the nice woman, but not enough to recommend - I hope she gets a job somewhere far better, she is a great sales person and is wasted at this dump.

Also this place sucks.

Hotel Hell wouldn't be able to save this place.

When I entered the lobby there was a woman at the desk asking for clean sheets, she said the sheets on the bed in her room had crumbs on them.  The man at the desk told her he didn't have any clean sheets.    He asked me if I wanted to see the room first, this was a red flag so I said yes, it was the most filthy disgusting thing I have ever seen.  There was garbage & cigarette butts on the floor, the room smelled worse than anything I have ever smelled before, the bathroom had two empty toilet paper rolls in it  & no full roll, after seeing & smelling this we opted to sleep in our car, we were displaced by hurricane Matthew & rooms were hard to come by, sleeping in the car was a much better option than in this filth.    I wouldn't even rate this a one but you have to rate it to complete a review & I feel the need to warn other travelers about this place.

Horrible

After a long day of driving in traffic from New York, heading to Florida,  I needed to pull over for the night. I booked a room. We were directed to the rear building. As I entered this place was a horror. Mold filthy walls and rugs. It looked like this place was condemned for years, totally unsafe. I never made it to the room. Turned around and requested a refund, and continued to drive towards Florida. I really  don't understand how the state of S.C would allow this place to remain in business. It is a health hazard.

House of HORROR

If I had somewhere else to stay I would very bad nightmare everyone is unsociable sinks don't drain had to go out and buy my own microwave just to heat up food I personally don't ever want to come back here again

This place is a dump. After my friends got delayed on their return trip home, they had to stop for the night, and chose this place. Big mistake. Dirty, smelly rooms. My friend woke up and ran to the bathroom and almost puked. They should rename this dive the Crack House Inn.
