This was a getaway for my bride and I. Everything was great, but the continual sound of the ocean crashing was epic! I miss it already. I plan on returning soon.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay.  Right on the beach and the rooms were great and so was the pricing.  Will definitely return.

View was spectacular! Stayed in ocean view side. Woke to see dolphins. Room was very clean!

It was very peaceful and relaxing . We absolutely loved it here.

We had the ocean view executive suite and it was excellent. If you are looking for a simple getaway it's perfect. Very clean rooms, comfy beds, and great views. Only con I would say is the pillows are little too soft but that's nitpicky. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

Sparkling clean.  Friendly and helpful front desk.   Right on the beach.

I was sent a code and link to check in or I could stop in the office to check in upon arrival. Stopped in the office and was checked in within minutes. Talk to the lady at the front desk about good places for dinner.Room was on The ocean. Was very clean and updated nice added touch to have chairs outside on the deck.

I loved that the room had an excellent view of the beach abd ocean.  The room was very nice and clean.  Location was great too.  Lots of stuff to do in the area.  Will definitely be staying there again.

The place is awesome. Beautifull, clean and calm beach without cars.The service is fantastic. Rooms are clean and confortable. The bed was way too soft for us. Room and cleaned every mornings very early and because the hotel is made of wood, this is very noisy.Lots of restaurant options around but not in the hotel itself.

Great place with an awesome view

It was a nice place to stay for my husband and I to visit Buxton N.C. being right on the ocean & all the needed amenities for a few night stay! Didn’t see any of the staff as it was a no contact check in so we had all the details for our room & where we were staying before we got there with no problems and was totally easy! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Nice room, clean pool, clean hot tub, lots of lounge chairs around the pool. A highlight is that the property is very close to the ocean and we could see the ocean from just outside our door. We were able to walk to the water in a couple of minutes to dip our feet in. What we didn't like was that we were on the 5th floor and the place did not have an elevator. It was hard lugging baggage up and down the outside staircases. We helped others who were struggling to do so. While not having an elevator may be typical of many older hotels in the area, we recommend mentioning this in the hotel's description.

Super cute!!! My boyfriend and I stayed her for a week to get away. The room smelled nice, the area was clean, the AC was amazing, and fresh towels were delivered every other day (if not daily)! The beach is also extremely accessible, breath taking, and clean. The hotel kindly provided convenient beach showers to wash yourself and beach things. Definitely recommend!!!!

Reservation and check in process was very good. On site service was very helpful. Biggest negative is there are no elevators. A third floor room is a real struggle for a couple in their 70’s. Thanks to a neighboring guest, we managed. TV offers no major network programming in its hundreds of options.

Location is excellent with a great view of Cape Hatteras lighthouse, however, this area lacks in dining options, so it is VERY beneficial to take advantage of rooms/condos with kitchens. The rooms are clean with lovely beach decor, however, the king size beds are not the most comfortable (bc my bed at home is ridiculously comfortable, so I'm spoiled) and the rooms could really use a small table and 2 chairs for eating or card/game playing. There are no elevators at this accommodation so plan accordingly if you need an accessible room (there are no ground floor rooms, this is very well stated in all correspondence and in many places when booking . The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. There were no ice bucket liners in any of our rooms and some toiletry amenities were missing in a couple of our rooms. We also, never physically met with or saw an office person, but we didn't seek then our either. They use a coded door system instead of keys and they email/text the door codes ahead of your stay. For in season stays I felt the price was decent. Overall, it's a cozy little place to stay and a good value. Being oceanfront was a huge bonus!

Right on the beach. Cleaning staff was amazing at removing sand from floor after coming back from the beach. Didn’t even have to go to the office to check in…instead got a room key-in code by text before arrival. Communicated with office by text messages afterward, and they were always very friendly. Would definitely come back!

Great stay!

Overall, decent location and close to several places to eat.  The room (322) was clean and well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc; even though we didn't cook during our stay.However, the photo of the ocean for this unit (322) was very misleading.  It looked as though we had a better view and more privacy than what we actually had since our unit was in the corner of the building.We would stay again, but would make sure we had a 2nd floor unit due to all the steps we had to climb.

Staff was helpful and friendly. I went to the office upon arrival and requested an extra set of towels, (as it was pouring outside) which they gladly provided. However, when housekeeping came the next morning, they did not replace the dirty towels that they collected from my room. So I went to the office again, and again, was provided an extra set of towels. The following morning, same thing, housekeeping did not replace what they collected. Minor inconvenience, but inconvenience regardless. Also, beach directly behind hotel was closed for 3/10 mile, and lighthouse is under renovation. Not the hotel's fault by any means, but prob would've stayed elsewhere had I known this prior to booking.
