Enjoyed a two night stay, staff is friendly and courteous. Only disappointment was the lack of comfortable sofa. Fortunately we spent time boating on the lake, visiting the "Trolls' at the botanical gardens, or walking downtown Boothbay Harbor. Found great restaurants close by. Didn't get to enjoy heated pool overlooking lake.

Charming location

We had an excellent stay at Beach Cove Waterfront Inn. We were welcomed by the friendly owner and the check-in process was quick. There was a parking lot that had enough spaces for all of us. 

We loved our rooms. Very spacious, and the balcony was perfect for enjoying the view. The kids loved the pool, I had planned to swim, but it got too chilly by the time we got back from our activities. 

Breakfast was also great. Bagels, etc, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, fruit. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. 

The Inn is right on a freshwater lake. We didn't have time to use them, but you can borrow the canoes and rowboats. I had hoped to see a Loon, and spotted one on our last morning. 

Downtown is about .75 miles away, downhill. We walked down and it was not a difficult walk, but we got a ride back up to avoid the hills. 

We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in the area.

Wonderful Inn in Boothbay Harbor

Unfortunately we stayed here for 2 nights during a heat wave and that is what keeps me from giving this hotel 5 stars.  I realize the heat was unusual but the room was very warm and stuffy, AC was a window unit that blows toward a sofa and the door instead of the beds, a fan would have been lovely!  Owners were very friendly and the property is very lovely, it felt a bit like summer camp.  I will say there were a lot of bugs that managed to enter our room during the night, I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and was startled by the number of large flying bugs that had entered the bathroom.  Like I said, it was lot like summer camp - maybe a little weather sealing to close some cracks and openings?

Great Value

Beach Cove Waterfront Inn exceeded my expectations. This is not a luxury property but it makes up for it with it's charming features. The rooms are an older style but well kept, clean and large. They all overlook the lovely water and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony just enjoying the view. The owners are welcoming, and it's clear they take pride in taking care of the property. My kids talk about this Inn as a favorite stay.

Wonderful Value

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July.  The room was great with a huge balcony and king sized bed.  We loved the balcony and sat out there often to see the breathtaking view.  The owner was so friendly and helpful. I spoke to her often. The room and property was immaculate.  It was so beautiful and stunning by the water.  You can barbeque , use their rowboats, canoes and have a bonfire.  We are so glad we found the Beach Cove Waterfront Inn. Boothbay Harbor is a great waterside town. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely Stunning!

Had a Wonderful time at the Botanical Gardens today. They had Wheelchairs AND motor scooters for our convince!! 
The Beach Cove Inn confirmed our reservation weeks before so..upon arrival I am informed they DO NOT have handicap rooms at all on the property. The owner sent us away with a recommendation for another hotel Down the Road!!! WOW! Karma lady!! Fortunately we were able to get the very last room at Flagstaff.

BEWARE!  NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY

We loved it here. It's on a hill overlooking a finger of water, with canoes and rowboats available. Our room had a balcony, micro, fridge, hardwood floors and comfy king bed.  It's sleek, modern, spotless and spacious. And away from the overbuilt and commercialized downtown.

Exceptional in every way

The owner/manager was incredibly helpful and kind.  Facility is very clean and the view/location is excellent if your trip is centered around Booth Bay Harbor.  We would stay here again. The canoes are an excellent touch.

Needs deco help but very clean

We live in Portland and decided to finally do a summer Maine staycation. We love the Boothbay Harbor area and booked two nights at Beach Cove Waterfront Inn. We booked a room with two queen beds and a balcony overlooking the water. It was a huge room and the balcony had a small table with four chairs where we could enjoy the view. We also overlooked the pool. The premises and our room were very clean. 

Due to Covid, we were told at check in that they would not clean the room during our stay but we could ask for more towels. Pretty much all of the guests were wearing masks when in close common areas around the hotel, as well as the staff. They still offered breakfast but we just needed to request what we wanted (typical continental - bagels, muffins, cinnamon buns, toast, etc). Coffee/tea/hot cocoa offered all day.

It was so nice to sit on the Adirondack chairs by the water and watch the sunset. We also took advantage of the boats and the pool. Close to downtown. 

We would definitely stay there again. 

Lovely Staycation

We loved our stay here! The owner is so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the executive suite, and it had a large king bed and pull out couch. The room was very large and spacious and had a beautiful water view. The inn is on a large pond where you can swim or go out on a canoe or paddle boat (for free!). They even supply life jackets. They have a fire pit and charcoal grills with picnic tables on the beach which you can use at any time. I wouldn’t walk to the down town, but it’s a quick 5 minute drive. The inn offers coffee/tea all day, and has a small breakfast offering that we did not partake in. There is a small pool that our toddler loved as well! We can’t wait to go back next summer.
