Excellent accommodation and parking facilities. Room very clean and receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming. All staff we met smiled and said hello. We would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Great location and easy access off the main road and railway stations. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to help you. Next to the town centre where there’s a generous setting of shops, pubs and restaurants. The hotel is immaculate, you are guaranteed a good nights sleep! Highly recommend if you decide stay in Wigan.

Was accommodated here for a working week whilst working nearby on business 
It was perfectly situated to get myself and colleague into work.
The staff were all very helpful and clearly having to multi task which looked very demanding yet they all took it in their stride specifically Joanne G who was constantly cheery and chatty.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and heloful.
The room and bathroom  spotlessly clean and most comfortable bed

Book this Premier Inn as we where meeting up with friends this hotel was close to our venue and in the middle of Wigan Town Centre. Rooms where basic but clean.

We had to hold on booking the accommodation (non refundable) owing to the possibility of a train strike but we had to leave it till 2 weeks prior to departure in case of losing money.  When we could finally book the rooms were over £10.00 a night more than when we first looked which was a huge disappointment.
The hotel is clean and staff particularly friendly and can’t do enough for you which was nice.
Stayed at Wigan several times and will do so again soon.

Stayed here as a party of 8 over several rooms. Whilst the hotel itself was the usual PI style,  basic but comfortable,  the staff at Wigan Central without exception,  helpful,  friendly and couldn't do enough for us! Minor snags like a fallen curtain were corrected promptly and without fuss. In particular, Kath and Amanda who were working in the dining area on Saturday and Sunday mornings are lovely people, so friendly and helpful and really couldn't do enough for us! I wish them both well for the future!

I recently stayed with premier inn wigan town centre to visit family over the Christmas period. When I came to check in I was welcomed with by lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for me and my family. The room was very clean. Every staff member we came across was so lovely and helpful. Car parks all round the hotel. It’s a perfect location for the town centre.

Stayed here with family for Christmas it was lovely had chocolate put in our rooms on Christmas Eve by staff and all the staff I came across was really friendly. Had breakfast in the morning that was nice too. Would stay again. Location is great very close to town

Stayed in this hotel once before and again had a great stay from the comfy bed to an excellent breakfast Great to see Sandy still there she was very helpful along with Joanne on who looked after me in the evening. Free parking available over the road after 3pm which was handy.

Great service at Wigan Premier Inn

Amazing stay

Basic hotel but was obviously clean, felt safe, good food and drink selection and really welcoming staff who actually want to help you. I don't normally leave reviews but all the staff I met over the weekend were super friendly, competent and helpful. The bed was comfy and the room was basic but clean and functional. My only issue was the very weak mobile phone signal but that was a minor irritant.  Free WiFi is avail too.

Review of Weekend Stay at Premier Inn Wigan

Stayed here for 1 night for business, with the expectation to get quite a bit of work done.
Initially had an issue with the internet in my room, I reported it to the front desk, and the lady was excellent. She explained what the issue was (internet provider) and indicated that an engineer had already been out to look at the same fault but would highlight again for resolve.
I was given another room which had great internet and able to do what I needed.

I had the meal deal which gave me dinner and breakfast, good choice on the menu for dinner and excellent choice laid out for breakfast. Mixed grill was really nice, and well-cooked, cooked breakfast was also very nice.

Overall, the staff were excellent, the lady who I saw regarding my room also asked me in the morning at breakfast if everything was ok. Very nice touch, and showed she cared.

Very impressed, to be honest I was not expecting much, but I certainly got more.

We stayed here to visit family and tbh liked the hotel/area so much we stayed an extra night.  Breakfast was fantastic.  Will be booking tonight for another break there. Room had everything you could need.
