We had a great stay here for 2 nights. We were made welcome from the start.
We had a most comfortable room from which we could see the Isle of Portland.
The breakfast was great and we intend to return next year.
The location is great so close to the Harbour and the main streets.

Just arrived home from a weekend here. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the owners make you feel very welcome. We also had a lovely breakfast each morning. Very close to beach, harbour and shops. Would definitely stay here again. Its perfect.

The owners were very welcoming on arrival and  my bags were carried to my room whilst I parked using the permit allocated. This was really appreciated. We had room 7 which was spacious and had a lovely sea view. Having breakfast included was a pleasant surprise and was served to order. There was a very friendly ambiance within the guest house. The location was great, right by the beach and the harbour where there was lots of nice bars and restaurants. On the day we left I bought my bags down and as I was loading it up Gary ( owner) bought all my bags out which was really appreciated. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Weymouth!

Loved staying at Boaters its such a great hotel to stay and the owners are fantastic very friendly and helpful.

We were made very welcome. The choice of food at breakfast was above what we expected. Only yards from a carpark which is a lot cheaper than the seafront carparks.

Lovely, friendly guesthouse. Great breakfast.  Perfect location, close enough to everything but not in the touristy middle.  Enjoyed the beautiful beach, the independent shops (of which there are many) and wandering around the harbour.   Such a lovely weekend that felt like a week. Thanks

This is our second stay and we love it! We just pop in and are given a parking permit. Room wasn’t quite ready (got there at 11.15am) so left bag and went to look around shops and Gary had put the bag in our room for us on our return.  Room no 5 lovely spacious room looking to the front of the property. One double bed and one single. Really clean and spacious and has a little fridge.
Breakfast is lovely and my son is autistic and a bit fussy so a sausage sandwich is never any trouble. Lynne and Gary are always very friendly and chatty. 
Will definitely be going back next year. X

With pandemic restrictions lifting availability was scarce but we were lucky to find Boaters in the best location. We got the last room on the third floor which did mean climbing several flights of stairs. The room was cosy, rear facing and serves as a double or twin. The bed was so comfortable that we had our best sleep for a long time. The room was ideal for us although we needed to run the shower for a few minutes to draw hot water up to the top floor. Not a problem.
Gary and Lynda are excellent hosts, welcoming and easy to chat with. The hearty, locally sourced breakfasts were amazing. We hope to return soon.

6 rooms ideally situated close to the beach and thriving riverside bar and eats area. Free parking overnight from 1800 in east street carpark or on road with residence permit issued by lodging. Comfy end suite rooms with great TV reception during football season.
Ample full breakfast served by brilliant owners.  Will return soon.

A fantastic experience!

Lovey B&B

When you arrive the best thing to do is unload right outside the property. There are double yellows but for a quick unload is ok. You are given a parking permit. Only problem is finding a space. We were lucky, managed to park a couple of minutes away. But once parked didnt want to move the car. Pay and display by the pavilion free from 6pm to 8pm. 
The Boaters really is in the perfect position. 1 minute walk to harbour with lots of bars. 2 minute walk to sea front. 2/3 minute walk and you are in the town centre.
Lynda and Gary are very welcoming. Gary cooks a great full english. Which sets you up for the day.
We had rooms 5 and 7 which both have sea views. Large rooms with small bathrooms. Which could do with a toilet roll holder, shower gels etc.
Overall really enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend.

Great location central to Weymouth. Parking is an issue though, if you think you are going to park close to the guesthouse, forget it.  If you are lucky you can get a space on the pavillion carpark but not before 4.00pm and if you are not planning on going anywhere else.  We had to find a pay and display car park 4 times during our 3 night stay. Parking permit not explained very well.  Room was clean, comfy bed. Negatives, needs a mirror over chest of drawers so you can apply make-up/dry hair. Due to size of room and large bed needs 2 bedside cabinets. Curtains needed as blind did not block out all the light, bathroom needs a shelf over sink, not a bathroom cabinet over toilet, hooks needed on wall by shower for towels/clothes, toilet roll holder needed.

A snap visit, for a couple of days in Weymouth, saw us at the Boaters Guesthouse.
Ideally located for the beach, town and harbour. Nearby parking with a free permit for the duration. This time of year meant ample spaces. It can be very busy earlier in the season.
Our hosts, Lynda & Gary, gave us a friendly welcome on arrival. We had a couple of nice good sized rooms on the third floor.
The breakfast was excellent and set us up for each day.
We would certainly stay here again on any future visits to Weymouth.

great location within 100 metres of the gorgeous beach.
The B&B give you a parking permit that allows you to use the parking bays on the street, or in the main car park 5 min walk.
Rooms are clean and tidy, we were on the top floor which kept you fit!
The breakfast was wholesome and hearty, and kept you going through most of the day.
would recommend Boaters without any reservation!

Great Location Superb Hosts!

Just returned from 5 nights at Boaters guest house with my 85 year old mother, I honestly cannot fault this B&B. The room was very comfortable and spotless, Linda & Gary were the perfect hosts and made us very welcome. The breakfast was amazing, compliments to the chef. If ever we are down that way again I certainly wouldn’t hesitate and booking Boaters again. Thank you both for a great weeks stay.

Outstanding B&B

If your looking for a place to stay, for a great price, in a great location, then book here. The owners lynda and garry are a lovely couple. The place is clean and tidy and the breakfast is cracking. It's close to everything on offer, and there's a carpark just up the road in case you can't get a space where the permits allow. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.
