I have stayed at the Hedley three years running now for an annual event. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and as a solo traveller I always feel safe here. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel is very close to the beach, the BIC, pier, town centre and the beautiful gardens. You won’t be disappointed.

I stayed here as a lone parent of two young autistic children to celebrate my birthday and get away for half-term. With that in mind, I look for safety, cleanliness and convenience. This place was great. We had a family room which was perfect for what was needed. The kettle and fridge were a nice touch. It was a beautiful space with traditional corniced high ceilings and lovely stain glass windows. The owners were lovely and attentive without being overbearing which was appreciated. We made use of the tea room and breakfast which was good. One of my kids normally has toast but coped without and enjoyed the yoghurt. In terms of location, the car park is close by and is £12:60 for 24 hours.  This can be renewed once which we did. There was a nice fish & chip shop round the corner and a handy NISI local shop too. It was a short walk down to the beach in one direction or the town centre in another. . We all had a lovely time and if I was going to do a short stay again, I’d book this place.

One of the best accommodation experiences ever. The reason for this was mainly the friendly and personal service. We felt that we were really cared for and appreciated. The staff made the experience a top one. We had a "penthouse" on the top floor, which was a good size and sufficient for three people. The room was clean in every way and the bed was comfortable enough. For breakfast we had great coffee, tea, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, biscuits etc. This was a very sufficient breakfast, which easily kept us hungry until lunch.A super experience in every way - a big thanks to you!

My stay at the Hadley couldn’t have been better. It was in a great location, it was clean and my room was super cute. The owners made it the best by accommodating my early arrival, taking time to connect with me and we’re just the friendliest hosts. I felt at home.

Lovely building and room, staff were nice, walking distance from beach and town.

Fantastic, friendly proprietors. The hotel is updated, very clean and tastefully decorated. The room was small, as is the case for most of the hotels we stayed in along the southern coast. There is no elevator so it’s a difficult climb to the top with luggage. There is a continental breakfast which was light but filling. The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the beach and thankfully not too close to the loud nightlife. The proprietors take security very seriously, which is much appreciated. One of the best features: A mini fridge! Why don’t all hotels in Europe have mini fridges?

I researched A LOT before booking a holiday with my daughter to Bournemouth. We usually stay in Premier Inn's but they have been getting more expensive. I looked at AirBnB but it was proving difficult to get a twin room.Finally found The Hedley Townhouse which had excellent reviews.We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely be back! I was so impressed! - Outstanding communication from Paul who messaged on the day with information about check in and details for the nearby car park.Excellent check in - very clear information and he even took our bags to the room.  Twin room was great, a bit bigger than I thought. The bathroom is small but perfectly adequate and everywhere is immaculate! Coffee is excellent and breakfast is available which is nice and simple - cereals, juice, tea, coffee, fruit, yogurts etc.Just a few minutes walk from the beach / shops so a really convenient location.Couldn't fault it - thanks so much :).

Fantastic - highly recommended!

We booked a small double room, and although aware of this the room and bed was pretty small. We stayed on hottest night of year and so the small room was incredibly hot, obviously not managements fault. Nicely decorated, well looked after, and very clean. Handy to have coffee available and snacks. Really friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Well located for town and beach. Parking was very limited on street though Carpark is close by, with security cameras.Highly recommend, we’ll be back for sure.

Great hub for beach and town, super clean

The H.T. in Bournemouth was wonderful Paul met us upon arrival and assisted with our bags.   We reserved the large family unit in the top floor (3 flights of stars - actually in the converted attic) so it had a lot of character - nice windows and view.  The updated modern bathroom was great!!!  Beds very comfy. Free street parking can be challenging since it's in a residential / business area but the pay parking lot is only 2 blocks away.   Very quiet and only a block from the park overlooking the beach.   Plenty of restaurants one street over.  Continental breakfast and the new coffee machine made a variety of coffees.  We really enjoyed our stay at the Hedley Townhouse.

Very clean and comfortable!

We had a lovely break. The owner gives you a warm welcome and it is spotlessly clean.We enjoyed the continental breakfast and free drinks provided all day. We managed to find on street parking nearby which I could imagine would be difficult in the Summer months.The hotel is close to the shops and beach, so is ideal.

Lovely little hotel

We recently stayed here for 2 nights in the family studio room, it was a lovely room, with more than enough space for a family of 4. It was very clean, spacious, light and airy considering it’s a loft room. It’s a very short walking distance from the beach, and all local attractions, bars and restaurants. We would most definitely recommend and if we visit Bournemouth again this is where we will be staying.

3ngt stay over the weekend with my 6yr old son who has complex medical conditions and autism. I messaged the hotel prior to our arrival just to let them know the details. They were extremely understanding and so so kind to us from the moment we arrived! Our family room was on the fourth floor and very clean and appeared newly renovated. Beds were comfy, nice little lounge area with tea coffee and kettle. The loft room has quite low beams on either end of the room so personally think wouldn’t be ideal for taller people to easily move around at either end of the room but it was a ‘loft’ family room so to be expected :-)All staff were so welcoming and lovely. Communal areas beautifully decorated with lovely ambiance music playing which gave it a real chilled holiday vibe. There was one time when we were leaving our room and coming down the stairs where a lovely staff member was hoovering and my son was a bit hesitant to continue down the stairs. It was clear that she was fully aware of my sons autism and without asking and so friendly, stopped the hoover and said she wouldn’t turn it back on until we left. This may seem like nothing but it was a huge positive thing for us and not something I would outwardly ask to be done to ease his anxiety but it was a very considerate action and I thank you truly for that!!! :-) We had the best stay and would highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable stay!
