Fantastic stay. Was greeted with a warm welcome. Room was amazing. Nothing to much trouble. Everything u needed was in your room. Breakfast was first class. With definitely stay again.. You wouldn't find anything better in Plymouth Thanks Sally and Keith 

This is a great guest house if you are attending a Plymouth Uni Graduation or visiting Plymouth Hoe. It was just round the corner, a short walk away. Staff were really welcoming, breakfast was great and bedroom was large with a lovely, comfy bed. We will definitely be back.

Keith the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He asked if we’ve been to Plymouth before and we hadn’t, he then proceeded to advise us where to visit.
We slept like a log and had delicious breakfast next day 😋 Thank you for lovely atmosphere!

A right little gem 💎 very pleasant staff, spotless room, and a 10/10 breakfast ! Very efficient service too …Town is a stones throw away and not far from train station…Will definitely be going back on my next visit… would highly recommend… you can’t beat a place like this … beats a big hotel hands down …if you like a home from home then this will suit you down to the ground . 

I had a very late two hour appointment at Derriford hospital meaning an overnight stay This was a twin budget room for a great price I bunked up in the same bed as my husband until he started hogging the duvet The room was at the very top of the house with a shared bathroom, not an issue for the one night In the room was a sink, soap, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a small safe  The room was lovely and clean, the staff friendly A fabulous breakfast was included in the price You cant go wrong staying at this guest house x

Clean guest house near centre. Good value and nice host. I would return as feels safe. Lovely old building. Big room, adequate bathroom. Stairs are steep. Didn't bother us. WiFi is OK. Kettle and tea in room.

I was passing through the area and saw this place on line and it seemed to fit the bill.
Despite arriving late in the evening I was welcomed and first impressions were excellent. The owner was courteous and friendly. The place, and the room were spotlessly clean and the it did everything I needed and wanted it to.
I met the owner again at breakfast, he was very friendly and polite yet again. the breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and beautifully cooked. On top of all this, even at the last minute the prices were every fair and keen. I would certainly come here again, thank you

Such lovely place with plenty of character. Very clean and homely. The people who run it is so friendly and help in any way possible. The breakfast is totally delicious, nothing is too much trouble for them from a full English to cereal. Love this place and would definately go back.

Stayed here for one night while visiting our son.  Lovely family room with one double bed and one single.  Spotlessly clean and super comfy bed.  Shower facilities were excellent too.
Close to Plymouth centre and the hoe, so perfectly located, and we purchased a parking permit for £5 which was excellent value.
Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast this morning, and good supply of cereal and fruit.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely book again!

I have no complaints when it comes to this accommodation - this hosts were friendly, the room was clean and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was a real treat and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Plymouth.

A right little gem 💎

Lovely place, lovely host. Very clean. Breakfast was included but we didn’t make it. Bed was good, really soft sheets. Came in later and had no problems. The only thing I would mention is that on booking.com it does say 10:30 check out and we had a knock on the door at 10. We don’t mind if it’s 10, but it was just a miscommunication.

Jewells is a comfortable guest house situated close to the Hoe and about 10 mins walk from the City Centre shops.  The staff are very friendly and the cooked breakfast is excellent.

The rooms have the usual tea & coffee making facilities and there is a good free wi-fi signal.  However, note that this house has four floors and no lift, and if you book a room that is not en-suite, the separate toilet and bathroom are on the top floor which is not where those rooms are located.  Therefore unless you don't mind running up and down stairs, you really need to book an en-suite room.

Also be aware that there are other B&Bs on that street and so the availability of on-street parking can be a bit limited at times.  However there is a bus stop for bus service 25 almost opposite the front door and the bus stops for other bus services are a 10 minute walk away.

Beautifully kept, clean and welcoming. 

Nice, clean and well appointed room, very comfortable bed, en-suite was compact but clean and well looked after, we were very pleased with the room we had. 
Room facilities include everything you might expect, tea and coffee, TV, hair dryer and an efficient fan heater (it's November). 

Breakfast was hot, well cooked and satisfying, with a good choice of cereals, yogurt, toast and cooked breakfast inclusive. Good coffee too.

Parking - Paid parking on Citadel road, we got a spot right outside. The hotel will provide (for £5) an over night parking pass valid till 10 am next morning, so DON'T pay at the roadside meter or on line before check-in, this parking pass saves you money ! 

Other information you might find useful. Plymouth Hoe is about a five minute walk away, leading down to the Barbican for shopping, food and pubs (15 minute walk with steps and some steep roads). The Plymouth Pavilions Venue is also around 5 mins away on foot, so the hotel is really ideally  situated for visits to both.

A very welcoming place for a stopover in Plymouth. Good sized room with comfy bed and a small en-suite. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very cheerful welcome from the owner.  Excellent cooked breakfast with friendly service.  Just a few minutes walk from Plymouth Hoe. On-street parking nearby (chargeable).
