Moortown Lodge has truly been our best find of 2025! We wanted a charming B&B for a short stay, and were absolutely blown away by both the beautiful accommodation and the exceptional attention to detail from Mark & Sabine. They are the perfect hosts; nothing was ever too much trouble. From arranging taxis to recommending local restaurants, pubs, and attractions, their knowledge and care made everything effortless. One highlight was their suggestion to try The Noisy Lobster, a fantastic choice. Back at Moortown Lodge, everything was faultless: the food (Sabine, you were outstanding, a solid 10/10), the room (another 10/10), and the warm welcome at the front of house (yet another 10/10). This is a true hidden gem that deserves a place in your “must-stay” list. We’ll definitely be returning as regular guests. Martin & Chantal
