We loved our stay with Mark& Louise at this immaculate and very comfortable b&b.
The location and the views are perfect, it’s an ideal base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and Mark is knowledgeable about the area and happy to suggest interesting places to visit or where is available to eat. 
Breakfasts were excellent and we are looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Mark was very welcoming. Comfortable lounge and parking outside.  A home from home. We had rm 2 with super views across the bay and a stones throw from the beach.  Bed was large and comfy and a settee to watch the sunrise. We were well positioned for walks and the town shops. Don't miss the ice cream shop. Very close to the castle.  We both had light breakfasts boiled eggs cooked perfectly, thank you Louise. 😊 

 We had booked Dylans restaurant before arriving and had  lovely meals there on both nights.

This was a lovely B&B, with a helpful gracious host, fine breakfast, clean rooms and superb views.  The rooms were attractively furnished and well equipped.  Like many B&B's of this original era, the stairs can be a bit challenging, but we felt it was worth the extra effort.  Highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay here. It’s a fantastic location, right on the sea front but isn’t noisy.
Mark and Louise are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were superb-a great range of choice and all really tasty.

Approx my 6th or 7th visit to the excellent BnB and certainly not my last. As ever, spotless, well maintained, great welcome. In addition to delicious breakfast (cereals, fruit, cooked breakfast, lots of coffee etc), the spacious lounge is a lovely area to relax in, as well as, of course, the rooms. I'm always in a rear view room by request - a request that is always easily accommodated - but have no doubt that the views over the front are lovely. In terms of situation, the BnB s bang on the sea front affording a wind-down walking experience after a day travelling. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent  few days at Awel Mor,Mark and Louise great hosts.wonderful breakfasts,spotless room,comfortable  bed,good shower,and a big welcome, what else could you want for.There is a bar available,homemade cake,and preserves.Breakfadt ingredients  are top quality as is the service.Hopefully we can return in the not too distant future.

The service here is outstanding. I booked a stay for my parents, who travel all over the world and they were blown away by the facilities and the service. Everything was spot on and the couple who run this are so so lovely. Support small business and give here a try! 

Second visit to Awel Mor in 2023 (review also done for first visit). As per April review, top marks all round again. Accommodating hosts, great brekkie and lovely lounge which saves the day on the odd occasion that is a little rainy in north west Wales. Returning in September and I'm sure beyond that. 

I can't even find the right words to describe how amazing this place is! Have just spent 11 nights there and I wish it didn't end so quickly!

Mark and Louise are simply fantastic, best hosts ever!! Despite being very busy they always find the time to make you feel super welcome and truly at home. Their hospitality is second to none.
The B&B is super clean and really feels like home. Their breakfast is amazing, I had the vegan and gluten free options, all delicious. Their attention to details is unbeatable. 
There was always something extra, homemade for the guests. The jam and marmalade they serve are handmade with love by a local lady. I tried both, couldn't decide which one I preferred so I bought 2 jars, 1 of each to take home. 

The location is spot on. At walking distance from the Castle, seriously the view you get from there is stunning. Criccieth is such a pretty place to stay in. Mark has suggested me a few walks that I have done with much enthusiasm, because my aim was to immerse myself fully into the beauty of that stunning area. 
Even if you don't have a car, there are so many places to visit starting from Criccieth, rain or shine, either by walking or by using public transport, which is convenient. You will discover a variety of places that will enchant anyone, no doubt! 
The locals are so friendly, very easy to engage in conversation with. 
I highly recommend staying at Awel Mor and I will certainly book it again next time I will be visiting Criccieth. Love it!

The first time we've stayed in Awel Mor and we'll definitely return. Mark and Louise are the perfect hosts and Louise's breakfasts are superb. Also her complimentary chocolate brownies are out of this world.
The attention to detail in the B&B is spot on. The rest of the guests all felt the same and most of them were returning guests. Reading then comments in the guest book says it all.
Louise suggested some venues for us to eat at and they were all top class. Nothing is too much trouble.

Best B&B in Criccieth

We stayed in the King bedroom with sea view. And what a sea view! Mark and Louise provide a sofa in front of the large bay window. Each morning we sat drinking our morning cup of tea watching dolphins, harbour porpoise, and even a seal. The breakfast Mark and Louise provide is so good that it set us up for the day.
The situation of this B&B is outstanding and Mark and Louise are outstanding hosts. Highly recommended.

Stunning bedroom views

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay at Awel Mor, with the marvellous Mark and Louise.  The breakfasts are superb, we love the cakes and the bedrooms are so comfy.  It is on the sea front and in the middle of Criccieth, with glorious views across the bay. We didn't want to leave!  Fully recommend as a holiday destination and we can't wait to book for next year.  Thank you Mark and Louise.

The best bed and breakfast!

We had a lovely 4 night break at Awel Mor. The owners are very pleasant and the little extra touches provided by them are very appreciated especially the homemade cookies. The breakfast is excellent and you make your choice the night before from an extensive choice. The rooms and public areas are very well maintained and clean and the added bonus is the sea front which you step out on to. All in all a very good holiday made extra good by the excellent accommodation.
