Really don't know where to start ! So let's start with the host Jo', extremely helpful and VERY polite lady. Ok the room, no 4 on 2nd floor window overlooking small parking area and grass bank. Room is perfect for single or couple for short or LONG stay. The bed is so comfortable you won't wake up , bed linen whiter than white !Cleanliness is 2nd none. Hanging bar for clothes is ample +2 bedside draw unit's. Small FRIDGE / TV / hair dryer. Kettle and tea/coffee etc provided. Toilet / shower with liquid soap provided..  Just 10 mins walk from  town centre.I stayed for 4 nights and WILL Definitely STAY again. Hopefully pic's att.

Excellently located, calm and comfortable hotel in Oban. We slept exceptionally well and made use of the great lighting for makeup. The door locks are a little confusing, as other guests and the lady who greeted us agreed, but beyond that we couldn’t fault it.

Myself Fiona and Peter checked in 19th July checked out 21st July we had room 1.  I can say that this accommodation was perfect, room was spotless bed was so comfortable, hosts were friendly and very accommodating lovely couple, close to all the beautiful sites of Oban. I will be recommending to my friends & family and will definitely book again. Faultless. 👍

I stayed on my journey to the Western Isles and this is a real find. The entrance, hallway and room was spotless. I received an incredible warm welcome and a fond farewell when leaving. Call ahead if you need parking or book while making the accommodation booking.

Fabulous place to stay.

Very convenient location for all Oban amenities. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent and very helpful host. Breakfast is not included but available very nearby at about a two minute walk. Small fridge in the room was very handy.

Lovely establishment located near the town centre.  Pristine clean, very quiet, comfortable beds, parking available on the street (free from 6pm to 9 am.) A few good places available in town from 8 am for breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.

If you are looking for a lovingly appointed, immaculately clean guest house close to the town center, look no further. I had a relaxed, quiet, delightful 3 night stay. Sunny skies helped, but equally sunny and helpful was the proprietor Josephine.   And a 5-minute walk to town center. 
The room was ample, en suite with thoughtful upgrades like a fully lighted mirror in the bathroom and decorative full length mirror. Bed was scrumptious. 
If you are looking for included breakfast or community sitting room you might want to look elsewhere but for me, Sandvilla and its most reasonable price were quite the treat.

Lovely guest house just up the hill from Oban city center and an easy walk. It is adjacent to a number of small guest houses. The room was lovely and comfortable. Josephine was very friendly and very helpful. Parking is tricky in the area but she does have a couple of spots out back for hire, and highly recommended.

We had a lovey stay at Sandvilla. The rooms were beautiful and clean, lots of electrical outlets, nice shower room with complementary toiletries. The bed was comfortable and offered two types of pillow. We both slept very well. The owner was friendly and discreet, and was available when needed. There was free parking to the rear of the property. While the cars were double parked we were never inconvenienced by it. 

Sandvilla is situated on a side road just before the high street. All the attractions, shops, restaurants etc are within a few minutes stroll, but far enough away to avoid any traffic or pedestrian noise.

What a beautiful bed and  breakfast this is! 😊 we would definitely recommend anyone to stay here as it so lovely and is based in a fab location.  There are plenty of eating places and bars near to the B&B also. If you want to do some site seeing you are not far from some great things to see.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

Location: very good - far more central than options that are further from the centre. ;-)

Welcome: Josephine brilliant - some queries prior to our stay were dealt with really well. Thank you!

Room: traditional, nothing spectacular, no view to speak of, but everything just right and clean. Excellent plusses... extra power sockets on an extension (I always take one - no need to use it here!)... a kettle big enough to make proper mugs of tea... a real fridge... the shower room just exemplary.

Breakfast - there is no breakfast - TA used to imply that there was - hence our interaction with Josephine before our stay = but you have the fridge and you can ask for bowls and cutlery. Yoghurt, fruit and granola and we were set up up. Simples!

Would certainly recommend and stay again.

Excellent base to visit Oban

Just back from a weekend staying at Sanvilla. Warm welcome and lovely wee single at the top of the house. Noticed bedding was feather and am allergic to feathers. I should have said on booking but it’s rare to have feather bedding these days and I forgot. I mentioned it before going out for dinner and everything was changed for my return. Sorry Josephine, but appreciated. Nice shower-room with a proper cabinet to store toiletries . Small fridge in room was a bonus.  Everything was clean and welcoming. Central location without hill climbing is perfect!

Lovely weekend

The host was very welcoming, warm comfortable feel to the place. Helpful with places to go in Oban. Relaxed feel,  left to enjoy your stay. 
Everything is pretty much a short walk from the guest house. Parking outside the guest house is pay and display however there is limited guest parking at the rear of the property. 

Room and bathroom was spotless. There was also a fridge in the room. Decent hair dryer. 

Price for one night was well worth the money, for a clean and comfortable stay. 

No breakfast due to Covid, completely understandable.

Homemade tablet was delicious, nice touch. 

Would highly recommend.

A comfortable stay

Absolutely beautiful guest house spotlessly clean. Nicer than some hotels we've stayed in!! Extremely helpful couple, very friendly and full of hints and tips about oban. Very short walk to town centre and oban Bay, ideal location. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough we will most certainly be back next time we are in oban.

Room Note ....the 2 rooms at the top of the house are attic rooms and you will bang your head on the sloping ceiling in both the bedroom and the bathroom at some point if you are tall . 

Still a great place to stay .
