Went with a coach load. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and accommodation were excellent. We also enjoyed the entertainment. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

100% improvement on our first visit just after Daish's took it over.  The food was so much better, served hot and with a smile.  The room was warm (lacking nets at the window) with a newish shower unit and clean with plenty of coffee/milk provided daily.
The entertainment was superb and we enjoyed our evenings in the bar.  Thanks to the very hard-working staff who can turn their hands to everything.

This was my first visit to Barrowfield Hotel and I would highly recommend it. My room was lovely, everything I needed in there and such a comfy bed. Food was lovely, plentiful, tasty and good choice. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only thing that let this down was the entertainment, it was such a shame that instead of singing the entertainers felt it necessary to crack corny jokes and change the words in some good popular tunes. People would have got up to dance if there had been continuity with the singing and music instead of 1 song and 5-10 mins of ‘jokes’!

Stayed at the Barrowfield for 5 days, lovely hotel amazing bartender, especially TIM!!! He is an asset to the hotel so friendly, funny ,helpful and an absolute pleasure to be around. He has so much energy and this rubs of on the guests. This man needs a pat on the back and needs to be recognized for all he puts in!! 
I'm a manager and I would love someone like Tim to work with me !

We booked here for a last minute xmas break through online site. We got good deal originally which is mainly why we booked. 
But budget hol it was not 
Deco were like they were straight from lapland and pleasantly relieved by us and others. 
We have had other xmas away and always enjoyed them. This was no different 

There were not many staff but those there really were great. Any holiday has faults if you look but we did not mind any ad the atmosphere and staff easily compensated that
Reception food hall and entertainers were all great. Tim and kim are a right pair and simply a delight on your bar.

The main selling point of this hotel are the staff, the majority are so helpful and accommodating. The hotel and rooms, although budget, are clean and warm with comfortable beds.
Ideally placed for public transport connections too.

Visited via a Daish coach trip for 4 nights. Fantastic value for money. The room was clean and had everything you needed. Restaurant great, food was served hot and a good choice each evening with 3 courses. Breakfast full English with the usual choice of cereals and fruit. 
Entertainment provided each night with game of bingo then a singer or comedian. Hotel does have a lovely swimming pool. 
We travelled from Dudley and was 7 hours on the coach however did have two decent breaks at the services. 
Daish’s never disappoint good value for money and fun family times. If you are a customer who is looking for 5 star accommodation and Michelin starred food then this is not the holiday for you. If however you are happy with clean facilities, good honest food and great customer service from the moment the coach picks you up till when you disembark then book today.

Excellent value for money. Hotel staff very friendly. Easy access to other towns and bus stop just outside the hotel. Easy walk into Newquay. Lovely indoor pool. Real value for the money   Couldn’t fault in any way. Good food and excellent service 

Hotel clean and comfortable, good selection of food very well cooked, table service very efficient, good location for town and seafront walks will return again.
Next visit must include a trip to The Eden Project.

2nd time this year that we have stayed at the hotel. Had a great time lovely staff and good food. Hotel always spotlessly clean . Bedroom and on suite cleaned everyday. Hotel situated near beautiful beaches and great walks. Will be back soon we hope

March Break

This hotel is very nice has fantastic staff throughout the whole place and is clean and thankfully warm,the food is presented very well and is really good due to us being on a coach tour some of the service was a little slow but that did not stop us enjoying our meals. Each night we had entertainment which was excellent and the bar staff were helpful and superb especially Mollie and Tim,we played bingo each night and also had an early qui, to keep us busy. Overall we had a great time and would certainly return in the future.

Stayed for 5 days, the meals were excellent. I'm a vegetarian and I was catered for which was good.  The bedrooms were warm and the hotel though it needs a little updating was comfortable and close to Newquay centre. There were bus stops near  y to Truro and St austell and a coach tripfor £10 to Truro and Falmouth. The only thing which would of improved things would  be quiet bedrooms which Tui do as the man in the next room had the TV on very loud, fortunately  this was not late at night but irritating neverless

Value for money holiday

Stayed here from 30th November for 5 days.  The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and they all go that extra mile.  Our room was a bit shabby and the floor boards squeaked like mad(I know this as my husband gets up for the loo in the night!), but they were warm, clean and comfortable.  Food was good and varied, I have a gluten intolerance and found that everyone put themselves out to ensure I had enough to eat.  Excellent cheap break.  Plus the bonus of winning the bingo on the last night!!

The reception was very accommodating when we asked if it was possible to stay in a room a bit more so we could shower after an ocean swim, they checked to see if it was booked and it wasn't that night so kindly let us have it a bit longer.  Really appreciated.  Great location and amazing amazing beaches!

Well I booked this hotel through hotels.com and was pleased 2 pay £50.00 4 bed and breakfast as that is what was advertised. My hubby found the same hotel on booking.com 4 room only at £45.00. So I was happy 2 get the room and breakfast. However when I arrived at the hotel they said we couldn't hv breakfast due 2 covid conditions. So they gave me a receipt 4 £41.00. But hotels.com hv still charged me £50.00 from my account! I look 4ward 2 a £9.00 deposit back 2 my account as breakfast cost me £22.00 elsewhere.
