Could not fault this intimate small & friendly hotel with fabulous bistro  absolutely fabulous .Central location overlooking morecambe bay . Beds lovely and comfy . Bathroom immaculate .Full cooked english breakfast is fabulous .Highly recommend .

Went for my Birthday & it didn't disappoint!! We have a table with views of the fabulous Morecambe Bay sunset. The food was fantastic & staff were so friendly & genuinely nice (a refreshing change!!) Great value for money & well worth a visit 😃

Had a fantastic time at the crown,  hotel room very good, lots of space in room 1 , plus a large smart TV ( bonus ) fantastically clean and super service , thanks to the team for a great stay , best hotel in morcambe travel alot and we find this the best hotel

Another great stay at The Crown in the Deluxe Double Room with Sea View on the first floor of the hotel. Clean, comfortable, and spacious.

We paid for the very reasonable cooked breakfasts each morning (not on a Monday, though). Fresh, hot, substantial.

Staff were incredibly friendly as always and they kindly booked us in for Sunday lunch at the very last minute even though they were full.

Great hotel spotless  great staff and stayed for Sunday lunch  wow was fantastic  did a starter and small dinner was plenty highly recomend great location rooms are a lot bigger than most very reasonably priced will definitely return can't wait

Here at the moment. Lovely standard double room with partial sea view. ironing board and iron, hairdryer, biscuits and very clean. Bed really comfy. Lovely bar and a place to sit outside. Right on the seafront and central to everything. Would definitely come again 

Stayed 2 nights as a friend was appearing in a play at the platform and it was also our wedding anniversary the day after ! Fabulous hotel ! Room 9 top floor double aspect sea view room amazing !

Family room 2 bedrooms,hallway with wardrobe and mini fridge,and huge bathroom with bath and shower over !
So glad we booked our evening meal for both nights as it was fully booked during our study! Good amazing !
Breakfast not included in our room price but very good value for money ! Really good quality food ! 
Staff amazing so friendly and I emailed a couple of times before arriving and they were answered immediately!
Would we stay again ? Most definitely but maybe not room 9 next time 6 had the same views and not as many stairs to climb !

We stayed at the crown hotel for one night as a bit of a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary , all I can say is wow! 
The service was excellent , I contacted in advance to have a chilled bottle of Prosecco in the room and nothing was too much trouble 
We had dinner in the bar and grill and the ladies that were on shift last night were amazing , lovely and chatty and again nothing was too much trouble , the food was five star ⭐️ and very reasonable prices too 
Now for the room , we stayed in room 9 which was the top floor sea view , we couldn’t fault it . Amazing views , lovely comfortable bed , large TV And even a binocular in the bay window to look across at the lakes ( lovely touch) 
All in all it been a lovely experience and we will most definitely be back

Fantastic place, right on the front.  Booked for a one night stay & didn’t disappoint.  Room 3 was huge with glorious sea views. Wee fridge with complimentary water, tea & coffee facilities, huge tv. Booked dinner & again didn’t disappoint. Food was really tasty, hot & excellent value.  Staff were outstanding, very knowledgeable & helpful.

You can’t beat the £9 lunch menu here, not been for a while, the last time I had the cheese and onion pie. This time I had a baguette, it comes with loads of crispy fries, a lovely dressed salad and delicious coleslaw. Thoroughly good ‘home’ cooked food and friendly staff, you’ll need to book though because it’s so popular! Fabulous value for money.

Gem of a find

Amazing ! ⭐️

Value for money

This place is a real gem.

We’ve eaten here 4 times in the last 10 months and every time it has been excellent.

The staff are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble.

The food is fantastic and there is plenty of choice on the menu, all reasonably priced. Good selection of beer, wine and spirits as well.

It is advisable to book a table as they soon get snapped up. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

If you’re visiting Morecambe it’s definitely worth trying, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to eat

The crown is a lovely guest house great location right on the front we had room 9 great sea view spotless clean big comfy bed 
We had breakfast and evening meals in bistro all cooked to perfection
There's a bus stop right outside there is free parking outside hotel if you get a space we were lucky 
Would stay here again if in morcombe  owner and staff very friendly and helpful.


Lovely time at the crown

Great hotel, good location and very helpfull staff.
The room we stayed in was fantastic very large, spotless and a great view over the bay.
The breakfast was amazing value and served in a very relaxed and friendly manner.
I would recomend this hotel if staying in Morecambe.
On some websites it states there is parking but there is no onsite parking but a pay car park is just round the corner.

Great stay in room 3

On a bitingly cold starry night, with the lights of Grange-over-Sands shimmering like diamonds across Morecambe Bay, it was a treat to dive into the welcoming warmth of the seafront Crown Hotel for a festive season meal.
Tinsel and baubles and a feeling of good Christmas cheer set the scene nicely for what proved to be a wonderful evening with good friends.
Staff were attentive and courteous, service was spot on and the quality of the food excellent - well done to Roy and his team of little helpers!
Our starters ranged from vegan butter bean pate (my wife is no vegan but she loved this) to butternut squash soup. Chicken breast fillets, turkey and salmon were included in the mains.
All helped down by a moorish Malbec.
This was a good night out - the Crown is glittering!
