395 reviewsWhat a lovely place. Julia has been running the facility for decades and it shows. She provides a refined service. The studio room was modern, fresh and bright. She greeted us as soon as we parked and showed us around the room, including how to use the clever lighting and remotely controlled blind for the Velux window in the vaulted ceiling. The lighting even allows for the bathroom to be lit from the switches at the bed. Great for when you need the bathroom during the night in an unfamiliar place. However we didn’t use this as when we hit the bed we zonked until morning. The mattress, pillows and linen were all first class and appreciated. There was zero external noise all night. A double socket with USB points is either side of the bed and there is a pod coffee machine in the kitchenette, milk in the fridge and home-made shortbread biscuits.. We have an EV, but didn’t charge as one EV point was recently out of service and we didn’t need enough charge to justify the one-off £10 charge for the working Tesla charge point. Overall we had a lovely night’s stay in a delightful, restful room. Thoroughly recommended.
