Down for a 50th anniversary reunion of ex pupils of Launceston College we spent a couple of nights at Newmoor.It exceeded all our expectations. Martyn was the perfect host.All the animals were friendly. With the nine acres of "garden" it was just like a "retreat".
Would love to return.

What a beautiful, peaceful break. Stunning house and stunning surroundings. The freshly prepared fruit salad which i had for breakfast was delicious. Host was really friendly and attentive with lots of tips for the local area.

This is one of the most beautiful, relaxing B&Bs you could ever wish to stay in.  Lovely rooms and stunning gardens.  The peacocks, cute chickens and wild life make it very relaxing. Martyn was a warm and friendly host. Ideal as a base to explore Devon and Cornwall or for a break just to chill out. 10/10.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Newmoor Park. We visited for four nights last year and were so impressed that we booked for six nights this year and alas it still wasn’t long enough. The house was as usual spotless, beautifully furnished and the grounds were amazing. Martyn had designed the new bathroom in Room 3 which  was awesome. It had an exceptionally large shower cubicle with overhead and side sprays and also a lovely freestanding bath. Room 3 includes a private terrace which overlooks the beautiful grounds.The continental breakfast was lovely with croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and an abundance of different cereals, orange juice and if you had room toast and a selection of jams. A wonderful place to stay. A friendly welcome where nothing is to much trouble, a truly amazing place to stay. I can see why they were a Trip Advisor Winner 2018.

Newmoor Park set alongside the river Tamar on the Devon/Cornwall border looked beautiful when we arrived 6pm at night all lit up with Christmas lights in this festive season.

We were greeting on arrival and shown to our room number 2 which was very spacious and like the rest of the property spotless. The fittings and furniture are all quality bit like being in a showroom, the bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep.

Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room were great.

The walk in shower was great and again great quality finish.

We enjoyed a lovely Cornish breakfast before leaving and had a great chat with Joseph and Martyn before leaving. We have promised to return if we are back in the area.
