Comfy rooms with everything we needed, all very new and smartLovely meal (dinner and breakfast) too

Very comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in an old and well kept pub. The room was very clean, roomy and cosy. Bathroom worked well and had hot water always. The staff were kind and helpful. We had two days where there was no breakfast because it was Christmas and they discounted those two nights but also provided some oatmeal tubs for us and extra bits for the morning which we appreciated. We travel a lot and we feel the value for the room, food and location is excellent. I would stay here again if I had to return.

We really enjoyed our stay, stumbled across the place whilst searching for a local area to stay. Rooms were beautiful, shower was amazing, food delicious, good selection of drinks. Breakfast was cooked to our liking. The only downside was not enough plug sockets in the room to charge phones/tablets etc but this was a minor thing. We loved the place and are looking to go again.

Two night stay, working near by. Ideal location just outside Norwich with good access links to local area. Lovely accommodation with good food and friendly staff.

Really nice one night stay at the Honingham Buck. Friendly staff, cosy pub, good restaurant and nicely furnished rooms. What’s not to like, we’ve stayed there before and would definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation, very comfortable. I was in room 4 which could’ve done with somewhere to work, like a desk etc for a laptop. Room was small though so not sure where you’d put one !! Pub is very cosy and nice food. Breakfast was excellent

Great find, excellent food and service. My only negative would be the car park is noisy due to thickness of pebbles. Lovely breakfast included in the price.

All the rooms are on the ground floor, separate from the main building. The one we stayed in was a good size, clean and comfortable. We were here for 3 nights, however you could easily stay much longer as there was plenty of drawer space and a decent sized wardrobe. It was particularly nice on a sunny afternoon to be able to sit out on your own little terrace. Dinner in the restaurant is very good, as is the breakfast, which is served in the bar. Park and Ride into Norwich is at Thickthorn, a ten minute or so drive away.

I stayed three nights on business. The room (4 Kisses - named after a very nice beer) was spotless, the bed comfortable and the shower terrific.  Breakfast is served in the pub bar area and was typical fare but very very tasty.  The restaurant is clearly popular and the food quality very very good.  The staff could not be more helpful and I am looking forward to my next stay in the Honingham Buck,

We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was attractively decorated and beautifully cool despite the 30 degree heat outside. The pub had plenty of atmosphere. The meals were delicious (evening and breakfast) and the garden was a bonus in hot weather. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We would certainly stay again.

A great place to stay

Located in a very quiet little village, the accomodation is situated behind the pub. The rooms are - I suppose you would describe as - chalet style. They are very clean, tidy and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints about my stay there.But, I would add one piece of information to consider. The car park and access to the rooms is covered in small pebbles, shingle etc. Though I did notice that certain rooms had a clear path running to them from the rear of the pub. But if you have to walk over the shingle, it can be a little tricky if you're not stable on your feet - or foot in my case as I'm an amputee. I would imagine it would be a nightmare pushing (or wheeling yourself) a wheelchair. If this is you, I would advise speaking to the accommodation in advance of your arrival, I'm sure they would do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable.

Nice quiet location

A great find. 
We were recommend there by a friend. Spent 4 nights. The room was very comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant every night and were very happy with the quality of the food. Breakfast was excellent and ample. Plenty to choose from. The staff could not have been better. No complaints at all.

A great find

Absolute gem! Lovely quiet location, no busy roads. Faultless in every way. Beautiful individual rooms, with high standard of decor and furniture and so immaculately clean throughout. Very comfortable bed, plus a wonderful breakfast, equals an absolutely outstanding stay. Staff extremely friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Large car park. Will definitely return.

absolute gem of a find!

It was much nicer here than I had expected and the landlady was very friendly and welcoming.
The room that we had was nice and the bed was comfortable, but the shower that we had didn’t work properly, and the bulb had gone in the shaving light above the bathroom sink.
Foodwise, we had a nice meal in the evening in the restaurant and found the waitress was friendly and efficient and the food was very well presented. The following morning, we had breakfast, with  both of us having a full English breakfast (no egg for me though) which again was tasty. 
I could not fault the place either for location which was pretty or for the room (apart from the shower/light), food or service that we experienced. 
If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here again.


A good stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean. Food was great. We stayed in room three and this was spacious and accommodating plus very comfortable.
There’s decent parking which is good because local taxis are a small fortune!

We went with our 2yr old and in particular a lady serving breakfast interacted with him so kindly, he really enjoyed her attention.
