Where to start? From the moment you're welcomed by lovely hosts Maggie and Paul you are made to feel so at home - nothing is too much trouble, there are wonderful touches such as the scrumptious lemon drizzle cake, a bottle of port and chocolates on arrival, the breakfasts are to die for, the accommodation is spotless and the views are just stunning. All we regret is that we didn't book the full week rather than three days - if you want a sumptuous base for exploring this gorgeous unspoilt part of the north east coast then look no further because I doubt you'll find anything this special anywhere else. Can't praise highly enough, and we can't wait to go back.
