Stayed here again while visiting family. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else now as this place ticks all the boxes.
As always very comfy bed, the room was spotless and all the staff on reception were superb! Such a friendly place, you don’t get many like this anymore, would highly recommend.

Back again, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My stay was very nice and the receptionist faith was extremely helpful, she has a beautiful welcoming smile, she is also very knowledgeable of the local area, I highly recommend you ask her for food locations, my room was extremely clean,

Having stayed here a few times before while visiting family, I will be looking for a different hotel next time. 

Rooms were clean and bed was comfy but the first night (boxing day) when we checked in there was a weird smell I couldn't put my finger on. During the night it became apparent the smell was the drains as the toilet and shower were both full to the brim. It stunk. I let reception know they offered me a different room which I accepted. Had to move all my own stuff which wasn't ideal with 3 kids under 5! 
The second room was no better. Although the sink and toilet weren't blocked, every hour-ish throughout the night there was an extremely loud gurgle from the shower which woke my kids up every time. 
I left at 5am as I was so fed up, I wanted to mention it when I checked out but there was no one on reception. 
Made a christmas stay quite stressful.

Problem with the drains!

The hotel was great for the cost but the radiator in our room couldn't be turned off so it got quite warm overnight. The shower doesn't keep a constant temperature and will keep throwing out really hot water for a few seconds every minute or so.

Otherwise fine.

Great cost but a few issues with the room

Many of the rooms only have small bathroom windows for ventilation.  Bedroom windows don't open and look into a corridor.  Fans are provided but all they do is re-circulate the hot air.  The radiators in some rooms can only be turned off when you turn off the adjacent hallway radiator.
Food is re-heated packaged garbage.

Dump.  Don't stay there.

The staff here have always been so accommodating we always get the room we ask for. This visit we had a problem with the radiator in our room but the staff sorted it immediately and left us a box of chocolate and some fudge as an apology which was gratefully received Clare was exceptionally helpful. This is why we come back time and time again.

Re staff

We arrived at this hotel a party of 12 and one of the guests had requested a disabled room but unfortunately it had a bath all be it low but he was unable to get into it. Michelle the receptionist was so helpful, she found a room that somebody had cancelled that he could be swapped into.  Unfortunately she wasn’t sure how change the rooms on the system, after trying to do it herself she had to contact her supervisor and they instructed he on how to do it.  I feel she went above and beyond to help us and my friends and she was able to make them very satisfied customers.

Michelle the receptionist went above and beyond to help us all have a great weekend.

Booked here to meet up with friends, we had the most amazing time here. The friendly staff, the quaint location and the attached bar all made it a really wonderful stay. Thank you we will definately be back!

Fab!

Couldn’t fault this premier inn,  the staff were so lovely, they went out of there way to help us.  The breakfast was great and again the staff were ther to help with any dietary needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel 👍🏻

Lovely nights stay. 
Sherrie who served me in the restaurant was lovely, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I had the steak which was absolutely brilliant and cooked exactly how i asked for it..
