We had a fantastic weekend here in this wonderful apartment! The hosts have made sure you have everything you need for a perfect stay from toiletries, tea, sugar and coffee  to condiments. It’s situated right in the middle of the cathedral quarter so you have easy access to everything you might want to see. It was great to come back to the comfort of the apartment after a day of walking and sightseeing. The scones that were left for us were a lovely touch too. We’ve stayed in a couple of hotels in the area before but would definitely try to book this apartment again next time!

We booked the Grayz apartments for two nights in September to attend a friend's wedding at the White Hart Hotel, so the apartments were in the perfect location for the wedding, and especially for walking home after a fabulous time in stupidly high shoes !  (And there is a great hairdressers just across the road).

We had no problem finding the apartment, or gaining entry as we had received a very helpful e-mail from the owner explaining all this. The apartment was ideal, everything we needed and more. It was like a wee home from home - in fact, on the second night, having spent the afternoon in Bracebridge Heath with friends, we had a Chinese meal delivered in rather than go out to eat.  Perfect way to end a perfect weekend.

I would definitely recommend the Grayz Apartments, and we will book them again on our next trip to Lincoln.

We stayed in number 12 for 2 nights last weekend and we cannot praise this little apartment enough. The facilities are exceptional, coffee, tea, milk, lovely scones with cream and jam on arrival. All toiletries etc in fact it was home from home all you need is your clothes, every little detail had been attended to. The decor is beautiful very  tastefully done in fact everything was perfect. However the best praise must be given to the cleaner the place was immaculate. We were lucky enough to meet her as we were leaving so we could thank her in person, thanks again Karen you do a truly amazing job .

We went to Lincoln for a wedding and that weekend all hotels were quite full. We end up booking this apartment and when we arrive we just loved it! Small, cosy and very near the cathedral and the castle. Much better than a hotel. Full kitchen and even some complimentary scones, butter and marmalade on the fridge from the delicious tea room downstairs! Very thoughtful to the smallest details. All the instructions were clear and simple and we can only recommend it. The city was also quite a surprise: magnificent. Do not miss a visit to one of the few surviving originals of the Carta Magna in the Castle.

We were in Lincoln to visit friends this month and found Grayz Townhouse online. The service prior to arrival was good with an informative email on details to access the property very clear. 
On arrival the house was perfect. Ideal location, free parking for two cars and clean and well kept throughout. It was a great touch to have some tea and coffee provisions left (and the bottle of wine!!) 
I would have no hesitation in booking here again if I were to visit Lincoln again and would recommend this property if visiting Lincoln for any time. It really felt like a home from home. 

Stayed here for 2 nights for a mini break with my brother this month and absolutely Loved it! The apartment was lovely, brilliantly presented and extremely clean! Would highly recommend to everyone I know and will deffinately be back again soon! Thankyou for the brilliant weekend!

My wife and I are regular visitors to the annual Steampunk event in and around Lincoln Castle, and each year we have tried to find accommodation at the top of Steep Hill so we are close to the event, and with Grayz Apartments that's exactly where you are. When you see the small cobbled street they are situated on, which is above the tea rooms, the first impression is that it will be small and pokey; although the description clearly states the room is for two so don't think of huge spaces to be able to waltz in. However, small and pokey it is not, due tp the nature of the event we had a lot of luggage and there was no problem in storing it all with tripping over it, a wardrobe with hangers, a good sized bathroom for toiletries and ubder the bed space for cases. Upon arrival there was fresh scones with jam and butter, a jug of milk, lots of tea/coffee & sugar and a bottle of wine. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, plate, cups, glasses and pots and pans, all very clean, an iron and ironing board. Moving in to the living/bed room; the bed was so comfortable and clean and there was fresh towels laid out. A nice sofa and chair by the window overlooking the cobbled street was clean and cosy, plus there was even a dinning table tucked in the corner! Full freeview wall mounted TV, great to catch the morning weather to decide on the day's outfit. The whole place felt secure, clean and homely. Parking is ok, I mean you're in the middle of the old town so prices reflect this, there is a short stay (perfect for unpacking) adjacent to the gate leading to the apartment and just around the corner is the long stay (£7.50 all day). There are stairs leading up the apartment so consider this if you have difficulties with mobility. We will definitely be staying again.

Nicely equipped self contained accommodation in the heart of uphill Lincoln.  You couldn’t really want for more as it is above tearooms and opposite a  restaurant, although there are several more within a two minute walk.   Only issue was it took 2 days to get the wifi to work.

We had been looking for a week or so for a weekend away to celebrate my partners birthday. We had seen these apartments previously but we was trying to do this weekend on a budget, so we ended up booking the evening before we went, £198 for 2 nights, more than we wanted to pay really.

We had no problems finding the apartments and the long stay car park which is a stones throw away and charge £8.50 for 24 hour parking.

We called the owner when we was 10 mins away to see where we got the key from which went to answer machine, long story short, we ended up stood in the rain outside the apartments as the girls in the coffee shop said there might be someone upstairs to meet us with keys. We rang and spoke to the owner who had sent an email with the instructions but we hadn’t seen it so totally our fault, she did however give us the instructions.

The apartment was lovely, fresh, bright, airy and absolutely spotless. We was a little disappointed to find we didn’t have any of the scones or wine that others had raved on about especially it being my partners birthday but there was tea, coffee, milk, sugar and 2 biscuits in a pack. This was lovely when we returned at night from our day out in the pouring rain, we’d put the bed side lights on so it wasn’t too bright and chilled on the sofa watching the world go by. 

We didn’t find the bed comfortable but that is personal choice ( we don’t find the premier inn beds comfy either ). The apartment is lovely and quiet and it so nice to wake to the sound of church bells in the background unless your neighbours decide to have a row at 05.15 in the morning and smash the glass in the door! This has no reflection on the apartments it just spoilt our lovely weekend a little. We felt so sorry for the lovely housekeeper coming to find that Sunday morning, she was so upset.

The apartment is in a brilliant location for the shops, bars, restaurants and sightseeing, close enough to everything to keep nipping back to drop things off. There is everything you need, even a washer should you be staying longer.

Yes we would recommend these apartments and we would stop again.
