The Langley Arms

Had an over night stay with friends, in this fascinating 400year old property. We were in the Family room in  the loft . It was cosy & comfortable. The manager Eman went out of his way to welcome us on arrival late in the evening. And even arranged a birthday Gift for my friend celebrating her 60th. The breakfast was delicious. Place was easy to get to.

Wow what an unusual place amazing actually, completely vintage 

I certainly wasn't expecting that as I hadn't booked it  myself but it was amazing experience

I found the staff friendly and Sarah was amazing she cooked me a roast dinner with my special requirements and it was yummy  totally happy ❤️

The breakfast is lovely it was continental and they had my favourite bread over seed sensations with two really good toasters and cereals if you want it  you could have a cook breakfast if you want one 

The room was comfortable I stayed for 2 nights and was very happy with my stay I'll definitely stay  there again as it's right close to the cycle paths Bristol to bath brilliant location for walkers cyclists just perfect for EUC riders 
The bar is  spacious and dog friendly 😘


We have been staying at The Langley Arms for about 6 years. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Sarah goes the extra mile to look after us. The location is quiet but perfect for visiting Bristol.

I have been staying here for a few years now and its been quite a while since I last reviewed it. All I can say is that all is as good as ever with clean, comfortable room with lovely, friendly staff both in the bar/restaurant area as well as the B&B. One member of staff, whom I have got to know is Sarah and she has been excellent both behind the bar and cooking breakfasts in the morning. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great hotel the staff are brilliant couldn’t be any more helpful. We asked for a ground floor room and can say it was clean and well set out. The food was good and bar price good. We used the hotel as a base for the Bristol balloon festival leased said about that the better. Breakfast was well prepared and well worth the extra £5 pp if we are in the area again would definitely use the hotel

With old buildings you have to expect creaky floorboards and quirky decor.  I think the Bargain Hunt researchers would enjoy a mooch around this place.  We absolutely loved our 1 night stay here.  The B and B adjoins the pub, the Langley Arms, parts of the building date from the 17 th century with a long farming history.  There are several lovely walks in the area, through the local park to the shopping centre for example.  Our bed was comfortable, the shower was good, modern television and adequate wifi.  We really enjoyed our evening meal, I had cottage pie and my husband had liver and onions, both were delicious.  We had a well cooked English breakfast the next day.   My only gripe is the kettle was too large to fill from the bathroom sink.

I really like this place. Excellent customer service throughout and very good value for money. Clean comfortable rooms with a good breakfast to set you for each day of your stay. I will keep going back .

I really like this place. Charming staff, comfortable rooms, fine breakfast and evening meal available too if you wish. Its quirky in that this is the original Manor House but now with new houses built on what would have been the old estate. I liked it so much I am going back next month :)

Booked for 1 night loved the old feeling  and decoration of this place old beams  bed comfy room clean paid the £5 upgrade from continental breakfast to a full english not sure that  1 egg 2 slices of bacon 1 sausage and some beans& tomatoes  count as a full english no mushrooms or hash brown having said that it was tasty help your self to coffee  and cereal would stay again but wouldnt upgrade the breakfast staff very friendly and nice little pub attached friendly locals and bar staff nice little night away  would recommend this place 

Very nice accommodation in a very quaint building - easy to find. 

Breakfast was cooked to order - very tasty.

Shower has awesome water pressure. Had a good night's sleep.

Lovely one-night stay

We stayed in the well equipped, smallish accommodation in a quite quaint old building
adjacent to the Hotel (Pub) which served traditional `pub grub`. The pub we felt could do with a bit of updating and re-furbishing (specially bench seats inside).
A bit noisy in the B&B, but that was not unexpected as it is adjacent to the Pub.
Good value for money and with friendly efficient staff who made us feel welcome.
The premises are in the middle of a housing estate but with a nice walk around a lake and a play area very close.

A bit difficult to find - but worth it

Great customer service in a lovely quirky B&B with good food and a very comfortable room.
The main bar in the pub, and the dinning room, were very traditionally with no frills but great fun 
Don't be put off by the location!
