I’m really pleased I booked to stay here for the night. The hotel is on a nice quiet street just off a main road with lots of shops, restaurants and is well connected to the bus network. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed (I slept brilliantly). I would stay again.

Lovely, clean, quiet room, despite being opposite a pub. Service was great, check in really helpful. We would stay here again and recommend.

The accommodation was of a very high standard and the staff excellent at helping me with secure entrance to the building/ room. Bus stop into town is very close by.There are no public rooms, so it's more like an apartment building than a hotel. As a lone traveller, I felt a bit isolated - no staff after 9 pm and my phone wouldn't work - but as accommodation, everything was first rate .

Really amazing.  Spotless. Ideally set back from main road so quiet, despite pub nearby which was always quiet and peaceful. Very convenient and easy walk for city centre.Staff so very helpful, for which we were most thankful. No food as expected but Tesco Express close by for breakfast takeout. Five minutes walk to Fresco Italian family owned restaurant for dinner: worth visit to Oxford just for that!

The front desk was great and welcoming. I would recommend this stay highly. L

The room was a good size, and the location was both quiet and convenient.

The hotel was very clean, close to excellent pubs and restaurants and an easy walk to the sights and shopping of Oxford. The online check-in and mobile key access was a breeze.

Staff were extremely helpful and flexible. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Newly renovated room, comfortable beds.  Shower new but very small, and you must be careful to regulate water temp as the hot is VERY hot. The big showerhead can be moved to the side so that the water is not coming down directly on your head, and shower caps are provided.  We were very comfortable here, and close to the bus line.

Crown Hotel - A little Jewel!

A very clean and well kept property, a fairly short walk from the centre of town, and close to a number of good pubs and restaurants. My only complaint is that on arrival there were no staff in the building, so I had to call and WhatsApp message to try and get a hold of some staff to check me in. Once someone did arrive he was very nice and accommodating.

The location was in a colourful and friendly neighborhood with easy access to all kinds of tasty food and bar options. The distance and bus option to central Oxford was easy and convenient, and the experience in Oxford was absolutely impressing.On top of that I forgot my laptop at hotel, really stupid, but hotel staff was very helpful with organizing a shipment to my home address.I can only recommend Crown Hotel and Oxford for a stay.

Amazing little hotel in a back street, very clean and comfortable, we arrived early to drop our bags of as we had a tour later but our room was already available so they let us use the room straight away. Hardly any noise from other guests although there was a busy pub opposite the noise was minimal. Staff very polite, 20 minute walk to Oxford City Centre. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Excellent hotel.

Arrived at 15.20. Room wasn’t serviced or  ready although codes were sent and could arrive from 3pm. Pub opposite so went there and came back. Nice clean airy rooms. Bed was alittle uncomfortable. The no parking was an issue and had a 10 min walk from available car park. Really convenient for high street, 02 academy, with plenty of food places, Convenience stores.Overall a good stay with most of what was needed for a 1 night stay.

Lovely staff and great location. New, neat, clean, basic (but what frills do you need?). I would certainly go back when next in Oxford. 2 things to know as FYI tips:-elevator only goes to first floor so ask for a first floor room if necessary - your GOKI key and passcode deactivate at 1100 precisely. I was going to my room to get my bag and was locked out. Staff gave me a passcode immediately but know to ask (saves going up and down)

Simple, clean, convenient to shop/restaurants on Cowley.  Nothing fancy, but very comfortable, reasonably priced, building/room access available by app, and simple walk or bus trip to Oxford city center.  Beware, surrounded by student housing and there’s a pub across the street.  We didn’t mind - there was only one night when the kids were out partying and the noise settled down by 11 or so.

I chose the hotel to go to Oxford University. The location is walkable and has several convenient bus routes. The staff is amazingly nice. The only thing is noise could happen because the rooms are very close to each other, and you can hear talkings from other room. If you unfortunately have a loud neighbor at night, it can by annoying.
