Just stayed at the limpert day cottage for 2 nights.
What a wonderful place,  hosts were helpful and very friendly in every way possible. 
The views from bedroom windows  were amazing,   bed was very comfy, cottage had every you needed for a perfect stay.

Originally booked elsewhere but had to cancel, luckily found this hidden gem and glad we did! Brilliant hosts both Tucker and Sharne, very welcoming and helpful. Didn’t arrive until quite late but was welcomed and recommended a local pub for a bite to eat and a delicious pint of cider! Clean throughout, comfortable bed and a scrumptious home cooked breakfast. Brilliant location; will be back next year hopefully.

We spent three nights here, can’t fault it, Tucker and Sharne great hosts. Slept well...the bed was extremely comfortable. The traditional breakfasts were great setting us up for the day. Good location to explore this part of South Wales

I spent a very pleasant night at the Limpert Bay Guest House. Arrived mid afternoon and had made arrangements with Host Tucker to get the code for the key lock box, so I could check in early. Walked along the pebble seafront and made a cup of tea. Tucker offered to drive me to the Blue Anchor Inn to have a pint and a pub dinner. After a peaceful night's sleep I took a shower and had a wonderful breakfast made exactly to order. Since I had come from Cardiff by bus Tucker generosity drove me to the train station and refused to let me pay for fuel/time expenses. I recommend Limpert to anyone who is looking for a near to Barry and Cardiff seaside lodgings and traditional hospitality.

Fabulous location next to the sea. Beautiful guest house.  Lovely dual aspect room.  Very clean.  Bed extremely comfortable. Very efficient shower. Breakfast plentiful and extremely tasty. Tucker is an outstanding host.  When we couldn't get a taxi to get into Llantwit Major he very kindly ran us in himself.   I can't recommend this B&B enough.
It's true it is next to a power station but it isn't a working station and the windows for the rooms face in the opposite direction so you get the most amazing views of the beach and the sea. Because of its location you really need a car.  If you dont have one and want taxis book them WELL in advance as there aren't many companies in the area and they can booked up very quickly.

Beautiful clean, airy room with fantastic views over the pebble beach. Quiet location but easily reached and accessible from the bigger towns. Friendly hosts, offering knowledgable information of the area and things to see and do. Cooked scrumptious full English breakfast to see us on our way!

Very clean and comfortable, wonderful friendly, chatty hosts, great breakfast and right on the beach and Wales Coast Path. Lovely dogs, a special breed which I now forget. The house is an old 16C boat house apparently. I'm unsure about nearby restaurants for evening meals, I had a good meal at Col-huw teahouse before walking to Limpert Bay.
