My partner had bought us one night in the Royal Sebaste Hotel for a couples night away to relax. Upon arrival the reception seemed clean, and staff were wearing masks. However once we left the reception to find our room, the hotel seemed to be falling apart. It was dirty and unkept. Our hallway on floor 2 had a huge damp patch on the ceiling and wall, the room doors looked battered and it just looked overall dirty. Once opening the door to our room, we actually considered returning the key and looking for a new hotel. The bathroom and room was dated, It looked nothing like the online pictures. The wallpaper had started to peel in parts, the ceiling and walls has stains and damp patches, the bath/shower had mould everywhere, the mini fridge only had 2 bottles of water (we paid for all inclusive room mini bar), and the wood from the bedside cabinets were battered and falling apart. The biggest thing that concerned us was the remote having scum all over it, and it obviously hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. When in the middle of a global pandemic, I would’ve thought the minimum cleaning service would’ve been making sure hand appliances are cleaned thoroughly. We were disappointed but decided to try and make the best of it, so we went to the bar area downstairs by the pool, the alcohol was strong which is one of the only plus points of this trip. And the wooden pier sitting besides the shared beach was nice, however it’s bad news when a hotel needs to rely on pure nature and balcony views to keep guests happy. Like I said, we made the best of our stay however spent as little time possible in the room and the actual hotel building itself. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody who cares about their health especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Awful! Never again!

The first impression of the hotel is very positive when you come into the lobby, you have a direct view of the sea. You also have it from the room, but that's the only positive thing I can say about the hotel. The staff is still very friendly. The rooms are dirty, the guests are decent, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's not even worth a star.

Once and never again

Not a moment of peace and quiet. Never go there. Can’t read, can’t check the social media, shortly you can rest here. 

So many times guests asked to put down the bolume of music but no. They think listening loud music of their choice is having fun.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Room clean but basic....furnishings tired and dated. Requested bath but what we received was only suitable for a pre school child and we had to request a plug.  Shower head not fixed properly to wall so unable to stand under shower to wash. No hot water in sink as hot tap turned off due to leak. No extra bedding or pillows although we did receive an extra pillow when requested. No hot drink facilities in room. Restaurant only open for breakfast and it was quite a drive to find a cafe/restaurant for other meals. Reception staff have only extremely limited English vocabulary so difficult to communicate. Noisy in the evenings with loud music from a conference in the hotel andeals from other hotels nearby so check before booking to see if anything is planned as we were not made aware. All in all we wouldn't return but it did us for a cheap stay.

One night in a circuit does not allow to fully enjoy a hotel!! Our room was large clean and well installed and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and well equipped (the little ones were present). Wake up from the reception at the hour followed by a rich breakfast with choice and good!!! Then walk in the park and on the beach at sunrise Super!!! DONC US AFFONS YOU SATIFY!!!!

Interesting and good overall

Booking by phone is not recommended. At the reception price information is unclear. For families with children not recommended because all drinks cost extra. Lastly, the cleanliness of the premises and rooms in the price category is not acceptable.

Very bad sory

We only stayed for one day during a tour. The hotel is located in the center of Mersin and is on a seaside beach that doesn't offer much if you go out at night. The structure is modern and the rooms all have a spectacular view of the sea. Ours was quite wide, tastefully furnished and even the bathroom was comfortable, elegant and clean. Dinner was offered outdoors, tables were set under the pool overlooking the sea and the food was good and quite varied. In the morning we witnessed the sunrise from the sea, a spectacle. We also refined the gazebos on the beach front lawn.

Fantastic with sea views

I spent one night in this hotel last week (actually it should be 4 nights) we were two and got a three-bedroom. The minibar was empty. The air conditioning didn't work. On demand at the reception they told me that the minibars will only be filled when groups arrive (which is ne logical) the air conditioning system is only activated for cost reasons in the summer (we had it 30 degrees outside). Only the shower wasn't clean, they apologized for that. So whoever foregoes the rest and puts value on the view, this is perfect because the hotel is right by the sea. But everything else has earned a maximum of 2 stars. No thanks Sebaste.
