One Resort Jockey

Got to say this is one of the friendliest hotels I’ve stayed in. All the staff we spoke to were so nice, from the waiters, the young man who served me Omelettes outside at breakfast (where we spent time discussing football) to the animation team. The bar man who kept bringing drinks to my wife was also lovely, wish I’d have got his name. Also a special mention to Daniel, part of the animation team #11, who was really a great guy, we had some fantastic conversations with him. Everyone spoke English to a decent level so no problems there. Checked in quickly and room was ready on arrival. Lady on desk was friendly and nice. I mentioned it was our anniversary and, to my surprise, a bowl of fruit was brought to our room and a cake was presented to us at dinner – totally unexpected – thank you! The hotel grounds are quite spacious with a big pool and water slides, including a burger and ice cream place to the front with a small amphitheatre behind. Going through the main hotel is the bar and check in to your right and the buffet restaurant to the left. Beyond that is a small sitting down area and with a a smaller pool (you can’t go in that). The other pool is further on, reasonably small, and then the lovely beach beyond. The room we had had a great sea view, was a decent size with queen size bed, free safe (the instructions to use it were wrong). Type your number in and press the # key to lock, fridge with water and coke (this wasn’t replenished during our stay). You can get bottled water from the bar. Bathroom was decent with bath/shower, bidet attachment for the toilet, and you were given shower gel, etc. It was cleaned every day. Drinks were good and cocktails were free. Snacks at the bar like nuts and popcorn. The buffet restaurant was fine, always a decent amount of choice and the waiters there very friendly. Free wifi, a bit hit or miss depending on where you were, but worked pretty well in the main reception area. I think we were the only British guests here during our stay, everyone else was French, I think, but we were made to feel very welcome. All in all, really liked this hotel, the staff were so friendly and we had a great time. It was good value for money.
