Villa Phoenicia

We stayed at the Villa Phoenicia in September this year and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of coming to Hammamet. The villa itself is beautifully decorated, very tranquil and super clean. There's a lovely roof terrace which is perfect to sit out on to watch the sunset! The owner was really welcoming and helpful - when we arrived he waited up uncomplainingly when we were delayed arriving in the evening. He really made us feel at home and gave us lots of suggestions for places to see. Our room was really tastefully decorated, very spacious and had a wonderful tiled balcony. Like the rest of the villa it was very clean and was made up every day. The breakfast was great - fresh coffee, juice, breads, pastries and fresh fruit - taken looking over the courtyard. The location was very good - much better than a lot of the big hotels which were quite a way out from the centre. We were 5 minutes wander from the medina and a minute from the beach - couldn't have been much better really. We both agreed that the villa really made the holiday - it was a really lovely place to come back to after a day of sightseeing or beach-going! I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay!
