Sandy Point Village

This is the perfect place for me as I was looking for somewhere quiet, clean, private beach and within walking distance to small restaurants and the airport. This is a small family run place and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool is very good and   near Olympic size. The beach is lovely and within a couple of minutes from my room. However it is not suitable for swimming. The nearest beach for swimming is at Store Bay (10mins walk). The room is very roomy and clean but don’t expect luxury. I would definitely come back again.

Great really enjoyed and appreciate the friendly staff.

There is need for a microwave and some cutlery in the room or accessible somewhere for patrons othercthan that superb facilities for a most relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

I Visited Sandy Point Village for a fortnight and it was really great and relaxing. I stayed in Trini Wing section and found it very pleasent and a bit of luxury to have full access to the pool for a morning swim or a night swim. The houskeepers did a good job with the clearingen and was very friendly. The reception staff with Shinnikq and her collegues let me check out in the afternoon instead of 11:00 am, so thank you all for making my stay comfortable. I really recomend this hotel if you want to save some money and still have everything you need when visiting Crown Point in Tobago.

I was visiting from Canada together with my family from Trinidad. Wasn't the first time being here. As usual the place didn't disappoint. The place was clean and comfortable, took advantage of the facilities as well, three hot tubs to choose from. Entertainment on-site. We took part in karaoke. Free shuttle service to and from excursion. Beds are comfy and close to everything.

Every time I go to Tobago and, the Sandy Point Beach Club resort in particular, I feel sad for persons who have never experienced the two.

Tobago is such a lovely place and the Sandy Point resort accompanies it superbly.

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel experience but expect a relaxing, no frills, “kick your shoes off” time for you and the family. I think all rooms come with a kitchen (I might be wrong) so you don’t have to totally rely on purchasing food.

Sandy Point is right on the sea front with a large grounds overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Sitting on the benches at sunset is a sight to behold as there is an unhindered view of the sun dropping behind the horizon.

For the fishing enthusiast there is a small jetty where you can “throw a line” but catching fish is a “hit and miss”. Call it quality relaxing time.

Renting a vehicle is recommended as there are many fine beaches and sights to behold. 

I thank God everyday that a quick boat ride or flight will transport me into paradise anytime that my schedule permits.

Went to sandy point for a family vacation and was totally blown away with the wonderful experienced and food . 

The hotel is lovely and the pools are so relaxing . Great value for money and the breakfasts were excellent.

The staff were great and went out of there way to make our week wonderful ,so much so that we stayed an extra night . Would recommend this place to anyone .

Been staying here for the past ten yrs..No one bothers u here...very relaxing Always my first choice love the 3 pools...water always crystal clear...Outdoorneeds renovation but still always my first choice...........   ...........    ........    ...................       ............ .........

Sandy Point Beach Club, Tobago

I visited Sandy Point on February 27 to 2 March. My Fiance and I got breakfast inclusive package so mornings were easy. Breakfast menu is definitely limited, however, the food is really good so was worth it as it was included in the rate. The room we were in had electrical problems so we were instantly relocated to another room. The WiFi then gave trouble but was rectified in the morning. The grounds were pretty well kept but definitely some more maintenance needed. Overall was a pretty good stay and the rooms aren't bad. Some upkeep needed but not a bad stay at all!!

Covid Vacation

This is lovely place for a family vacation at an affordable price. The host was very hospitable and helpful which made the stay enjoyable. We walked to Store Bay for lunch, went to nearby fort. My 5 year old enjoyed the pool as it was a very good height and one level. The grounds were well kept with a jetty going out to the sea (perfect for a photo shoot), the staff was friendly, the food....no variation but good. 

Beautiful and Convenient

Best kept secret is The Steak and Lobster Grill Restaurant.  Food was exceptional and very reasonably priced.  The shrimp dish was loaded with shrimp and yummy!  Food was so good we did not eat anywhere else.  
The hotel is in need of updates, but they are underway slowly but surely.  The pool was recently redone and looks fabulous.  The grounds are well maintained and always looks well-manicured.  Staff from reception , to cleaners to ground staff were all friendly.  The small kitchenette had everything we needed.  Bathroom needs updating.  Lighting in the room was a bit dark for my liking.

Wonderful vacation

The facilities could certainly use some maintenance; but this is not a luxury place, as is reflected in the pricing. For what it costs, it's definitely worth it. Great location right near the water. Pool was fine - could use a new concrete coating but it was clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it overlooks the water. There are also two other hotels with outdoor bar/restaurants that are on each side of them on the beach. About a 10-15 minute walk into "town" where the main strip is. About a 45 minute walk to Pigeon Point Beach. They service the room every other day, not every (but I'd prefer that). If you're checking in after 10pm you have to let them know because normally the front desk is closed between 10pm and 7am. I'd stay here again.

Great for the location and price

This property reminded me of a plantation.  The feel and vibes were so relaxing.  Really cute place will definately stay there again!
