We visited Våffelcafe on our way from Denmark to Stockholm. This place surely is worth the little detour from the main road. The place is a beautiful wooden former school dating back at least 100 years. The cafe is located downstairs and the rooms upstairs. There is plenty of parking space next to the building. The upstairs was nicely renovated keeping the old wooden doors and floors, but still offering modern necessities like a toilet and a shower. We got a good nights of sleep in the comfy beds and absolute peace and quietness. We met the host Anna in the morning. She had prepared a nice breakfast and also made us waffles as the place is called Våffelcafe. Definitely could have stayed longer, but we needed to be on our way. Would definitely come back again!
