Spent one night here with my wife and it was truly a fantastic experience. The food they served was delicious and the staff always ensured our requests were attend to immediately. The beach is very nice and there is an amazing rock pool around 200 meters away where you can lie down in and enjoy the ocean. The pool was also an added bonus and overall, the whole bungalow was an extremely relaxing experience.

Will most certainly revisit.

Former Deanna's Beach House now known as Beach Republic received my second visit in 2 years on 15th and 16th of July. 

The place is simply awesome and it's  tranquillity is a perfect getaway for family and friends.  Located by the beach and has its own private pool, this four room property is value for money.

A personal chef to prepare meals as per your menu and no fixed timings like a conventional hotel buffet makes your stay even more great as you don't have to run to a restaurant for meals but go as per your required timings. 

The chef prepares great food and together with his small team makes sure your stay is a pleasant one all the way.

Fantastic Stay !

Home away from home 

Beach Republic is a small (4 room/10 person) get away for family and friends. We stayed for 2 nights in Dec 2015.
The plus points are the service from the resident manager cum chef Vass and his assistant, privacy, the pool and the tiny rock pool about 200m up the beach.
The negatives were: lack of investment in maintenance (an  AC was not cooling, one room door could not be locked, a toilet didn't flush, the sliding doors were getting stuck, water pressure in the showers were non-existent, the lawn was not mown and had lots of thorny weeds, the coconuts looked ripe but were not plucked (could have been a hazard). All in all, not major issues but created little nuisances that took away a lot of the enjoyment that we could have had.
What was really disappointing was that none of these had been looked at though an half the payment was paid two months in advance and the balance a week before we went there.
To be fair though, the owners say they have planned refurbishment.
So, check on whether these have been attended to before booking.
