This is the perfect apartment for a couple for several nights in the quiet harbour village of El Hierro. Well appointed if you feel like preparing your own food, with the local supermarket just around the corner. In addition several restaurants all within 2-3 minutes walk. Studio style layout but still relatively spacious. Our apartment (#5) had a balcony with sufficient space for 2 chairs and a table. This overlooked the harbour and marina, with a great view beyond of the wider ocean (bring your binoculars for whales and dolphins and plenty of other wildlife). Reasonably sized modern bathroom (with hair dryer!) and spacious shower. We had some fun getting the hot water working but that was my lack of Spanish! Having at least rudimentary Spanish understandably would simplify your stay here but to stress the landlord, family and friends were very helpful and arriving late (10pm) was no problem.
