STAY AWAY! Rooms are dingy, outdated, dark and reek of cigarette smoke. Also very far from all Seoul has to offer.. Checked in and checked out immediately! Thankfully I had booked through hotels.com so I was able to get a refund for 2 of the 3 nights booked. Do NOT stay here! Look for a hotel near Seoul station instead.

I already called the front desk staff about the Chocolate (Its NAMA CHOCOLATE OF ROYCE) its might not too expensive but my fiancé gave it to me and I forgot it in the freezer but when I called for check again in the same day after I already check out (6-8 hours left) housekeeper said she saw only yogurt in the freezer (in this case its impossible to saw only yogurt because I put the blue box of my chocolate in the freezer by myself) that’s present from my fiancé its belong to me, so not again about fox hotel (and another case is a staff in the front desk have been to keep a carkey of my fiancé to move the car to another place by himself, I’m not sure if you want to moved you can tell us first because my fiancé he love his car the most. THANKS

I LOST MY CHOCOLATE

1. tiles at the side of the bath are worn out, not very good looking. didn't look hygiene either, so i couldn't have a bath but had a simple shower.2. multi-colour lightening in the bathroom? not a good idea. my apology to whoever came up with such idea, but it looked really cheesy.3. can't eat something properly because the room didn't have a table.4. i should've mentioned it earlier, but the room does not look like the photos, so don't trust them. it's smaller and less fancy.5. the computer in the room is too slow for any practical use. to be more specific for those who care, it had 2GB ram and geforce 9600, which means it's at least 10 years old. i wanted to watch some wholesome and educational documentary videos - i am definitely being truthful - through the large screen for a nice and good sleep, but the computer couldn't even start the chrome, meh.6. the shampoo smelt nice, if it could comfort you a little bit7. but the hair dryer was too weak to dry hair properlyit's true it's the cheapest hotel (well, it's technically a motel) you can find in the area, but i would recommend you to spend 30 more bucks to get a better room.

cheap but not worth the money

入住時 客房未有準備好，雖然counter 的人友善，但是空調很嘈而且壞了。晚上507房更有鍵盤輸入和mouse 的聲音 可怕得很。 忍不住凌晨check out 了 跟couter 說換房 卻而非常差的態度對待。說明天才可以換。打上hotels.com 說退錢 酒店表示不能退。而且第二次查詢，更說我的booking沒有了。 第三次查詢酒店更不接hotels.com 的電話。勸免想住這酒店的人打消念頭。When I want to check in, the hotel said the room is not ready. Although their services is good in morning, the air con is broke at midnight,  there are even keyboard and mouse click sound in midnight, which is very terrify in room 507.I want to change the room but he used very bad attitude to said is room can change for you now.  So I check out at midnight .I called hotels.com for refund but fox hotel  said they cant. Second call the hotel said there is no my booking. Third time the hotel even fun hang on the call. The one who try to choose this room,  cancell it,  is reli a bad decision.

Everything were prepared such as soup shampoo lotion n 24/7 ready to serve noodle fruit juice n water . Wifi when note might b unstable depend on number of guest. But overall is worth for price to pay for.

Great deal n worth for money paid

Fox Hotel is a very good hotel. The location is just a few minutes away from the subway. There are also numerous Korean and Western restaurants located across the street. The staff working at the front desk were very friendly and even offered me free food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Very good hotel

Never ever stay here.

The cleaners are Chinese migrants working on minimum wage and they stole all my cash and jewelry from my room one day while cleaning. 

Checked the CCTV footage, they were the only ones who entered my room that day. The police are now investigating. 

They are dirty rotten thieves. They denied it of course. But the guilty looks on their faces said it all. Couldn't even look me in the eye. 

The hotel staff man also did nothing to help me and refused to call the police after I told him what happened. He was probably in on it too.

NEVER EVER STAY HERE.

Cleaners are thieves!

Very well located near markets, shops, bus stop, and Seoul National University subway station. Like other hotels/motels surrounding the subway station, this is basically a so-called love motel catering to short stay visitors but it also welcomes regular tourists. My parents stayed here for 2 weeks. Upon arriving late at night, they paid for their entire stay and received a discount for cash. It's pretty good value for the budget traveler.

The room was smallish (although it had a bath tub that could seat 4!) but this was more than compensated for by the standard amenities. If you're just after somewhere to sleep after a day out and about, it's more than adequate. The staff were most obliging (and knew a little English) and the overall safety, privacy and service were superb. A whole range of shopping, eating, outdoor markets and even a sauna (jimjilbang) were nearby. Public transport by bus, taxi and subway were easy. 

My parents liked the location and inexpensive rates and would stay there again if they were ever back in Seoul. It's true there are no closets, but they got by without them. Also, they had to get use to a singing room somewhere in the street that played songs on a loop at night. After a night or two it wasn't a problem. There is no view to speak of, but you could open the window. Free bottled water, coffee and juice drinks were in the fridge in the room and in the downstairs kitchen (which also had free ice cream).

Not just a love motel

Well, the "Hotel" is in a good spot. Just 100-200 meters away are a lots of small restaurants and such. Subway approx. 5 min. by foot. That was very convenient. They even picked me up with a cab (on their costs) as i was send to the wrong place by the airport information. 
One thing though, the hotel is a former Love Hotel. Although it runs now as a usual hotel with very moderate costs, you can still see very much the former business. Hearts at the entrance and kind of dim light throughout the whole hotel.
If you want to stay in a more nonusual accomodation, thats the place. But if you're looking for a more usual hotel with windows, good english speaking staff and so on, i'd recommend a different place.

Interesting place

I should've took pictures. Although the price was very reasonable I expected more from the pictures. The room was very small, the bed took up almost the whole room. I was there for about a week and a half and had to live out of my suitcase the whole time because there was no place to put your stuff. No closet or dresser. 

The TV had a variety of channels even ones in English. The hotel is 2 blocks from the subway which is good. The staff was very friendly too. Also what I did not know when booking was this is a "love hotel", people come in and rent rooms by the hour.

I wouldn't stay here again but if your on a budget and just looking for a place to sleep at night this is the place. Went to visit my husband in the military and wished there was openings in the on base hotel. Ooh well, I enjoyed my time.
