It was my first experience to stay in a tourist hostel in Russia. And I should say it was above my expectations! The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good time. I was in an 8 bed suite dorm and stayed for 3 nights. The rooms and bathroom area are clean. Finally, the metro is literally less than a 5 min walk from the hostel. Overall it’s a great place to in the center of Saint-Petersburg for the affordable price. The only negative is that like all central districts, this one is far enough from airport. Russian taxi to the airport can cost like one night stay in the hostel, but metro is very cheap and close.
