It's not pretty, at all, but what it lacks in beauty it makes up for im charm. This is definitely a party hostel. There's a bar across the street so that's cool.

Dingy

Room had A/C bed and private bathroom. There was water leaking in the bathroom was my biggest complaint. Views were nice from the roof and was close to everything. It was nice being able to interact with people from all over and I felt safe. It’s not a hotel but was better than my previous hostel. There’s a bar right across the street. Limited parking can get busy but wasn’t too bad. Bathroom was small and wasn’t the best but better than nothing. You want a better experience book a hotel but price could’ve been less. I’d say worth like $30-$45

One night stay here

Nice people. Just needed a place to relax and stay out the heat of San Juan.

Ok back packers hostel. I’ve staid at much nicer for $10 a night. Beds were ok shower was a little dirty. Sheets were clean floors were clean. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Personally I’d try another hostel next time but nothing to complain about.

6/10 decent hostile

Comfy bed, good water pressure in shower, ac was nice and cold. Staff were extremely friendly. Everything was on point for $50 a night for a private room.

Close to stores and local restaurants food trucks , safe and quiet I loved it

I liked the price. I dislike the staff attitude, the rooms are way too crowded, and it's not in a very good neighborhood.

My friend and I have traveled and stayed at dozens of hostels over the last six years. We're both very aware of our privilege and identity as Americans when traveling. We try to take up the least space possible and always offer to do our own cleaning if possible.. I say all of this to give context. When we arrived there was no internet and we immediately saw a cockroach. We shook it off, thought ehh that's hostel living, and kept it moving.

The next day we were moved to another room. That room had leftover food, opened containers, and the bathroom was disgusting and flooded, hairballs everywhere. We were pretty disgusted but again, we kept it moving. That night we made friends with two other girls in our room and as we were falling asleep, a six-inch rat ran across the desk surface, parallel to my friends face, of our hostel room. 

We all got up and started cleaning and throwing away everything in the room that didn't belong to any of us, it was 80% of the things in the room. We hadn't opened two locker doors and when we did, we found them covered in rat feces. 

The next day I tried to tell the staff and three women came out and accused of me being an 'entitled b****' and told me that if i didn't like their attitude or how they were running things i could 'get my things and get the f*** out of there.' i was shaking, in complete shock and honestly kind of scared. 

they said 'It's not our jobs to clean up after adult women.' 

My friend and i grabbed all of our things as quickly as we could and got the hell out of there. 

don't stay here, the staff don't want you there so badly that they will forcibly kick you out, and also it is very dirty.

no wifi, hella dirty, but wouldn't have written this review if not for the violence from staff

Kitchen is disgusting.  Noise from morning to late night right outside the door by employees and other guests.  Air conditioner had no working thermostat, so freezing or had to turn it off, then boiling.
