Casa Da Veiga

I came to Casa da Veiga with my family and my husband while staying in Peneda Gerez National Park and I couldn't be happier with my stay. The family is so friendly and welcoming and although the mother doesn't speak English, she is always there to say hello and greet you with a smile. The place is spotlessly clean and cleaned to perfection daily. There is parking which was very necessary when staying in such a rural, beautiful area. The room was bright, so, so, so clean. The bed was firm and comfortable (the best sleep I had on my trip!). The bathroom comes with a big tub/shower, bidet, toilet, toiletries, sink, fresh towels. There is plenty of hot water and good water pressure, a nice sized balcony and a mini fridge which was super handy for keeping our hiking sandwiches and post hike beers cool! There is a big closet (you could live here for a year with that kind of storage XD), night tables, lamps, desk, etc (depending on the room). Anyways, I loved it. I would 100% stay again. My only recommendation would be maybe an extra chair on the balcony and a mini table so I could have a coffee overlooking the mountains. Wonderful people and wonderful hotel!!
