Rent -A -Pad Apartments

Just thought I'd share this since some people were asking where to stay in Lodz. I found Rent a Pad Apartments on my first trip and was really comfirtable so stayed on my last 2 trips as well - the apartments are really clean and fresh with everything you need and the service is great and very friendly. The location is really central within walking distance to Manufaktura shopping center and also the main street Piotrskoska where all restaurants and nightspots are, so I left my car in their courtyard when out in the evenings. Lodz in general is quite a dilapidated city so you are never really far from run down buildings whichever part you are in, but I really like this location because it is really central and yet un-pretentious - you are in the heart of the city among everyday folk and at a really great price compared to other places I looked at. I even got a discount on my whole stay when I had to extend due to business - pleasant surprise when I wasn't expecting it! Together with complimentary wifi internet and cable tv (only Polish channels though!), all shops, tram, bus, etc close by, its really everything I need! Great value all round and would highly recommend.
