A luxury house set up catering to large families with everything you need.  Great location among the vineyards. The kids and adults alike loved the pool and Spa. Great tables indoors and outdoors! The rooms were great and loved the on-site cellar-door and restaurant! 

Family Christmas 2023

Can not fault Kiwiesque!  We stayed for a company event for 16 guests, and it simply could not have worked any better for us.  The house is just beautiful, well thought out, plenty! of space to break out or be all seated together, or to have your own private spaces.  Beautifully appointed bedrooms/bathrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful linen! plenty of bathrooms and an amazingly supplied quality caterer's kitchen, with enough of everything to cook up a feast - and we did!  We were simply never in want of anything.   Book this house you'll absolutely love it - we did!  The hosts are wonderful, it's close to the airport and easy to get around to all that the beautiful Hawkes Bay has to show off about.  Highly highly recommended.

Esk Valley Excellence!!

Second visit to this superb lodge with my extended (16) family. It was a joy to return to this beautiful place which is like a jewel amongst the devastation of Esk Valley after the terrible destructive floods some months ago. the facility continues to delight, superb location on the hill, excellent highly spec'd rooms, gorgeous designer kitchen with all facilities and appliances, inviting open fire, and a wonderful separate dining area with a table seating for 12. whilst the lodge is largely open plan it is surprisingly cosy with huge sliding glass doors that give a great view of the surrounding area (albeit pretty devastating right now but gives us urban Kiwi's a sobering insight to what the residents of the normally pristine Esk Valley have been through). That did not deter us from enjoyment as our time was mostly spent in the property; apart from a memorable lunch at The Mission in nearby Hastings. Justine and her husband run an amazing facility - 5 star, and highly recommended.
We will return.

Absolutely excellent accomodation! The villa is gorgeous and everything is excellent quality. The hosts were very helpful. Would definately recommend for families, especially with the swim spa and large living areas indoor and outdoors.

Brilliant villa

Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable. Great location near the airport and within driving distance of Napier and Hastings.  Host gave very clear instructions on how to access the house, also provided a list of recommendations which was very handy.

Fantastic views

Amazing views, great location and perfect for two families sharing the villa. We had some NZ family over for dinner and the house was well set up for entertaining. Overall an incredible stay. We’d definitely come back again.

Peaceful

I booked my extended family (12 adults and 2 children) for 5 nights from 23rd to 28th December into the Kiwiesque Lodge to celebrate Christmas away from our Auckland home.
Location; in a very picturesque part of the Esk Valley, overlooking the extensive vineyard  - peaceful rural scene.
Residence; a beautiful and very large lodge, immaculately presented with open plan living and plenty of extra spaces to separate and relax. The bedrooms were 5 star quality, all with separate facilities toilet, double showers, mini fridge, very comfortable beds, and secluded decks. The main part of the lodge is also very well appointed with every possible appliance in the large open plan kitchen,  and comfortable furniture throughout - tables can comfortably sit 12 people.
Outside: a large swimming pool and wide surrounding deck was a feature.
Summary; all in all a great place in a great location with great facilities; and high quality too.

Christmas away from home with the extended family.

We enjoyed a week of quality time with extended family here. Swimming, relaxing in the spa, reading in the sun, lazing by the fires in the cool evenings. 

Everyone had plenty of private space to retreat when needed and the indoor and outdoor living and dining areas are spacious and comfortable and allowed us all to gather together easily and comfortably. 

The kitchen is well equipped for large groups to selfcater. Plenty of fridge and bench space. 

Showers are excellent, beds are comfortable and blackout curtains make it easy for children to sleep in!

Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

Quality Time in a Quality Location

We stayed at the Villa which was just perfect what we wanted; quiet, spacious, quiet, comfortable and quiet… The hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommend staying in a night or two and cooking the food prepared by the hosts and drinking their lovely wine!

Honeymoon

The Kiwiesque Villa is a fantastic accomodation option for a group of family or friends. A beautiful deck area for lounging or eating outside - to a roaring fire inside. We self-catered for the weekend and the facilities were excellent, even including some of the basic ingredients available for cooking - and fresh coffee beans for our use!! Catering for 6 singles was no problem, with splitting double beds in to singles. We hope to be back next year!
