Piaam State

We stayed 2 nights in standard family room which was a good size with a double bed, 3 singles, modern bathroom, garden view. It was very comfortable. Downstairs is a communal living area for all guests to use the kitchen, relax on the sofa and armchairs, eat the delicious breakfast. Communal but not intrusive at all, works very well as there is so much space. Also because the area is so peaceful, people walk around calm as if on a retreat. The garden is beautiful, with horses at the back, chickens walking around unrestricted, and there is a trampoline and swings for kids. Plus a very good size outdoor pool. The welcome was also very nice, we felt very welcome indeed. Piaam is a very small village and very pleasant. 2 km away is Makkum where there are local shops, cafes, restaurants. We had a lovely short vacation at Piaam State B&B.
