I booked both a private room and a dorm and both options were clean, with comfortable beds and pillows and hot showers. Excellent service from friendly staff, probably the best i have experienced in Nepal. lovely and quiet place - delicious and varied breakfast. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Convient location in lakeside pokhara.

Kiwi backpackers is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Location is great, very central, staff are super helpful and lovely, rooms are clean comfortable and well appointed. I had a private room and it was excellent. General vibe is friendly with lots of opportunities to meet like minded travellers. Special mention to the lovely Maya and Susma.

I've had a great stay at this place. The bed was comfortable, the hot shower worked well, the breakfast was amazing for the price, the rooftop was beautiful, and the staff were extremely nice. 

The room, garden and common room were spacious. I would definitely return when I am in Pokhara 

My stay at the Kiwi Hostel was absolutely perfect. The owner and the Hostel owner are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and cheap, good breakfast included. A lot of space to chill and to have privacy, as well as to connect with people, however you feel like (: I loved the roof top and started my days there with Yoga with a great view. I visited the kiwi hostel with my brother and the double rooms are very spacious and clean. They provide a locker when you are trekking. The best view from the roof terrace, and very kind and helpful staff members that fix your bus ticket to Kathmandu, make the best breakfast every morning and give good advice on trekking options in the area.

I stayed here with some friends a few days before and after I did the Mardi Himal trekking. After the trekking I stayed in Pokhara for almost a week to regain energy and for me this was a good place. I stayed in another hostel for one night, immediately regretted it and came back to Kiwi. Both the owner and personnel are very friendly and helpful. When we entered Pokhara and walked to the hostel, a guy wanted to have a chat with us. At first, I thought he wanted something from us or "show his art gallery", as they do in Kathmandu. But this guy just wanted to tell something about the city while walking to his hostel. We figured that it was the hostel we booked and he was so happy to hear that, that he started cheering and hugging us. In this week, he helped us a lot to plan our trekking, fixed us a very friendly guide (if you need a guide, ask the owner for Santosh, we had a great and fun week with him). 

The rooms were clean, the showers warm. The beds were comfortable and last but not least: the breakfast (which is included in the price) is just lovely. You can't choose your own breakfast, but every morning I was suprised by another delicious start of the day. There is plenty of spaces to relax, for example there are hammocks next to the rooftop bar. From the rooftop you can see the Annapurna mountains when it's a clear day. When I go back to Nepal, I want to go back to this place. Thank you!

A magnificent, friendly Hostel. I highly recommend it. I am an older backpacker travelling with my 2 adult children. We recently stayed at Kiwi on 2 occasions of 10 days in total. I was a little reticent about how an older guy might fit in. But I shouldn’t have been concerned. This is an incredibly friendly, clean, well- organised place. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. The owner, Suman, goes out of his way to make everyone welcome. The included free breakfast brings everyone together and from this, many travelling tips were shared and communal activities were organised. This resulted in us enjoying everything Pokhara has to offer. Suman has MoMO Monday where we learn to make momos and then eat the finished product (luckily the staff were around to fix up our mistakes).  Suman also organised a Christmas Eve potluck dinner where we all bought, prepared food, cooked it and enjoyed the company of the other 25 people in Kiwi. We all made great friends with other travellers.

Really clean and cheap hostel.  Awesome way to meet solo travelers.  We went on a trek and the hostel stored our extra luggage for free when we booked a night following our trek.  Free breakfast is also delicious.

The rooftop bar is awesome for cheap drinks.  We would go there every night before we went out.  The bartender Seema was really sweet and welcoming.  We enjoyed our time chatting with her.

Property is about a 15 minute walk from the more lively part of Pokhara, which isn't bad

The Hostel is super nice and clean. The perfect place to meet new people. Super nice breakfast and the owner is super friendly and knows everything. He helps you with whatever you need. He help us to get the local bus tickets to the bardia national park, he always has a smile on his face and he have a lot of good storys😁 if you need something just ask him.
Best place to stay and I definitely come back👍👍👍

Super friendly staff and great amenities. Highly recommended

This is a hotel-level hostel with dormitory accommodation available. The rooms are nice. Pokhara gets seriously hot so the ceiling fans don't cool the room all that much. There are a couple of rooms with AC.  The roof top bar is fantastic.  Alcohol in Nepal is overpriced so it is easy to spend a bit hanging out with the crew. The food that can be ordered in is exceptionally cheap and good quality. So a really good option in Pokhara.

Awesome place to stay - highly recommended

Nothing negative at all. Everything about this place is great. Great location, great rooms, great beds, ensuite in private rooms, super reading room, rooftop bar, TV  room to kick back in.
Breakfast changes regularly. Great garden courtyard eating area. Lock up facility for luggage.
Best of all, great people. Suman and his staff are very responsive and helpful. Rooms and surrounds are always spotless.
Hard to go past.
