Reasonable price for the lovely room quality n good Hotel staff who can speak better English than elsewhere. Clean n v soft bed n pillows. Only hotel I stay in Yangon …that has nice wallpaper n serves good range of japanese buffet breakfast. You may get a taxi easily @2000-3000 kyat (chiat) within town areas. Beware of dirty wild dogs that roam around the street. Since I dont really fancy going pagodas, I like shopping at Aungsan mkt n walking around St Mary's Cathedral n Strand hotel (colonialbuildings). Yangon is really a much safer n friendlier city than any other neighboring countries. BEWARE.look to your left right left many times before u cross the roads. Must try the early morning street hawkers burmese soup noodles with some crackers, I like it.Indian Yoghurt at chinatown too.
