76 reviewsI stayed at Riad Alma Mouassine during the first stop of my trip to Morocco. It was my first time in the country, and I initially felt a bit disoriented. Thanks to Samir’s warm welcome, availability, and professionalism, I quickly felt at ease. He gave me valuable advice on how to move around the Medina and how to reach other districts of Marrakech. The Riad itself is beautiful, decorated in a charming traditional Moroccan style. The room I had chosen was clean and cozy, and the breakfast they prepared for me was generous and absolutely delicious. One of the highlights of Riad Alma Mouassine is also its location: when you step outside and turn left, you’ll reach Bab Alaksur Gate, a great spot to catch a petit taxi. If you turn right instead, you immediately find yourself in one of the most unique souks of the Medina. Keep walking straight, and you’ll arrive directly at the iconic Jemaa El Fna square – the vibrant heart of Marrakech. A big thank you to Samir and the entire staff of Riad Alma Mouassine!
