What an exceptional stay and trip we've just returned from. Dar Mo'da is simply an Oasis, not only from the busy bustling streets of the Medina in Marrakech, but the general world of today. The sound of trickling water, bird song and the call to prayer give off a rarified atmosphere of peace and calm in the most luxurious of settings. We travelled to Marrakech for my wife's special birthday, we wanted something different and Marrakech certainly provides that, it can be a little daunting, Dar Mo'da is the perfect place to explore from under the guidance and friendly watch of our host and Riad manager Mohamed, always calm, more than helpful he was an exceptional host and gentle guide, organising, suggesting and giving helpful tips. This Riad only has six rooms and in our time there we were lucky enough to stay in two of them, the White Suite and the Black suite, both exceptional with their own terraces. Breakfast each morning was on the rooftop, beautiful fruits and breads and juice set you up for a busy day, served by amazing staff. They even went as far to present my wife with a cake for her birthday. I can't speak highly enough of this place, everyone should experience Dar Mo'da at leat once in their lives. We'll be back.
