Joy Island Hotel

Stayed at joy island for 10 days ! Never been to Maldives before ! It was amazing to be greeted by the staff on our arrival and made us feel very special ! The beach hut we stayed in was clean and was right next to the sea ! We did lots of activities , kayaking , jet ski ing , trips to see the dolphins and even had a star gazing experience one night on a old fishing boat . All the staff were vey attentive and friendly and couldn’t enough for us . A few staff stud out to us ….. Gracie, Cecilia and Dita from the market and in the bar .. Inda and Navin! Even our cleaner Dhanu couldn’t do enough for us . Our rep Sayuri was also very helpful and made us feel special . Mush also on reception was also very pleasant 😀 We would definitely stay here again … the only negatives was the noise from the disco from rainbow bar and paying for the trips, some water sports can be expensive too . There was a barge coming near the beach hut some days building a break in the sea which was quite noisy and abit of an eyesore ! We did visit the pizza restaurant one night to have a change from the buffet but was quite expensive. A food voucher would be better to put towards the expense . All in all we had a lovely holiday and didn’t want to come home . Thankyou Joy Island !
