Thayu Farm Hotel

We got married in Thayu and we couldn't have had a better experience. The staff were were so supportive and went out of their way to make it special and create a lovely atmosphere including adapting the grounds and bringing in flowers especially for us. The food was really good and the staff took great care of us and all our guests. It's a beautiful venue and worth visiting even for just a meal or drink.

Nice place with fast internet, lush green gardens with well-manicured lawns and hospitable staff. Perfect for city breaks & family getaways. If you are an introvert, this is heaven. The location is perfect. Also, the scenic roads leading up to the place makes up for a nice ambiance

The Ambiance is perfect for both leisure and work. The staff make you feel at home right from the gate. Had a complementary BBQ with bonfire on our last night there. And the good thing is that it's not far from Nairobi City. Loved it 

-Invest on night staff,you are losing lots of money because of that.That idea of having chefs close the kitchen by 6pm doesn't make the slightest sense at all.
-Upgrade your tv's: basic smart tv should suffice

Wonderful stay and excellent service.The serene environment ,a cool ,calm and freshly atmosphere.It is located at highland tigoni in limuru.Not far from Nairobi approximately 45 kilometers.

I loved the manicure ground and the rooms are clean. The service has been friendly. Management are concerned about guests feeling , hot water bottles delivered to the room.
Overall a pleasant stay.I would recommend any one to this hotel

Serene is best used to describe the place. The weather favors a warm cuppa and snacks which is what I had. Their samosas were very fresh and not to oily though could be fuller of meat.
The staff are very friendly and warm; special mention to Eunice who was ever smiling and quick to action. 
I also liked the idea of round belts for cottages; also rhymes with the rustic/ wood theme that the place has going on. 
A nice place to regroup or a stop over after an afternoon drive that is not far from town and also not in town. 

Well the staff are very warm,the place is beautiful and the meals are well done.Never spent the night but I loved the place.If you do not like noise/love serenity,this is the right place for you.I would revisit...

Thayu Hotel is an old venue that has retained a rural atmosphere in the Kenyan Highlands. The internet has been somewhat intermittent, but the service has been friendly. Management are concerned about guests feeling cold and log fires are lit every night and hot water bottles delivered to the room, even when the weather wasn’t all that cold. 
Overall a pleasant stay. 

In this day and age of the concrete jungle.. Thayu  Farm presents just the perfect getaway for a relaxing day to just relax and reset.
Friendly staff,great food,awesome green grass and the cottage was just fantastic.

Old colonial style 

The place is exceptional in scenery! The grounds are well taken care of but left to also offer that natural feel. The food is great and the chef, who is Italian is very pleasant and knowledgeable. The staff are very inviting and helpful. I recommend it to all for tasty food with unbelievably fresh farm air and scenery.
