I've been there in March 2012 and it was a perfect stay,after 3 weekd travelling arround Japan we felt like at home.
Food was incredible, and the owners were very nice.
My friend dived in 2 places but this one was the best diving she had for a long time.

Totally recommended and if I go back to Zamami I will stay there for sure.

This is place is more like bed and breakfast place in Zamami island. The place is run with a very lovely family who is taking very good care of the place and visitors. The place is situated just opposite of the dock from where the ferrys are leaving. The location is very convient to stay, you can walk at the village and you can get minivans outside the hotel which takes you to the beach. The best beach is located about 1 km from the hotel so you can even walk if you want so ( at least during summer months it is very hot so it is much nicer to take minivan delivery to the beach). 
The room where we stayed had two beds and aircon. Toilets and showers where in a corridor, but next to your room so it didn't bother. Toilets and showers where always very clean.
You can have a breakfast and dinner here if you want so with extra costs. There is one small food store in a village from where you can buy drinks and some food to fridge which in a lobby of the hotel. You can also find couple of restaurants in a village to have dinner.
You can also book dive and snorkel trips from the hotel and the owner of the hotel knows all the best places to dive.
Very good option to stay at the island which is beautiful, peacefull and full of sealife. Great place to visit.

The place is right opposite Zamami Ferry Terminal. It caters for divers mostly  - all the tours and trips can be booked through the front desk. There's a place to rent bikes, a couple of small shops to get drinks and sashimi, and a small restaurant with Okinawian cuisine. The nearest beach to swim is 1 km away and can be easily reached by foot. The hosts are great and always willing to help.
