I can only join others raving about this site. It is what camping should be about: cosy, friendly, with all basic functions (including the morning coffee and briochi), with a view over Verona that surpasses everything. You can find a corner to hide away from the others if you like, or join other guests on the terrace and sip a glass of wine, enjoying the tranquility of the place. The camping is best suited for smaller cars and tents, though bigger ones are also manageable.

so friendly and helpful, all amenities are so clean and easily accessible! turned up with a flat tyre and staff were incredibly helpful with finding garages and breakdown services, even helped with translating! set on the outskirts of verona, a perfect distance from the busy town centre!!

Another wonderful stay at this gem of a campsite - we again pitched our tents on spaces on the walls. The views are fantastic, and there’s can also be a breeze (it was very hot!). We love the plants and trees, and the relaxed seating/washing up area on the walls. New to us this time was the back gate, which gives a quicker way in and out of town. We also had a good coffee at the bar. A highlight for us was going to the opera at the Roman arena, so easy from this site and too.

This campsite is in a fantastic location with only a 10 minute walk into the old city of Verona.
It hardly looks like a campsite as it is housed on a series of terraces within the old city walls. It is peaceful and beautiful with cleverly designed access. 
We came in a 6.5m camper. They are all housed at the top but this area is still very attractive. There’s a terrace with benches etc next to the camper area with a view across Verona.
The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful.
There is a small shop/cafe that serves basic breakfast provisions including real coffee and a very reasonably priced bar at night.

The campsite meanders through the terraces of an old castle sitting on the hill overlooking rooftops of Verona.   Amazing views.  It’s quirky and individual – explore the old buildings to find multiple shower facilities, a little shop and bar, kitchens and a lounge area. The site is a bit expensive, but it’s worth it.

Not good for large caravans or campers (thank goodness).  Park in the street outside, check in with the helpful reception team, then check out your pitch.

Make your way down the hill to the San Pietra bridge, then it’s a 20-minute stroll through beautiful city streets to the Roman ampitheatre.  Take time to sit in a bar on Piazza Erbe and watch the world go by.  We went to the opera in the ampitheatre, a memorable experience.

Stayed for 10 days whilst attending the Opera Festival @ the Arena de Verona (another tick ff my bucket list)in my campervan with my dog Kaz.

Site is located in the heart of the City in the grounds of the Castle overlooking the river.

Facilities are excellent if a little dated ; but they are clean & there is always plenty of hot water.

The little shop/bar stocks essentials inc fresh bread daily & drinks are reasonably priced.

But for me its the staff which really elevates the campsite ; nothing is too much for them.

I got the "wildies" and one staff member , Pilar, went,on her day off, to the pharmacy to get me medication.

When I imagined visiting Verona, I in no way pictured that we would be able to camp virtually right in the city. The location is ideal (although it is a steep uphill walk on the way back from the city). For a campsite it had pretty good amenities and a good level of cleanliness. You can make your own food there as well as buy food and the outdoor common areas are really pleasant and can offer some much appreciated shade. It is a unique experience and you don't get many opportunities to camp somewhere like that. And I definitely never thought I would get ready to go to the opera in a campsite but it certainly was a lot of fun!

Unique campsite in a brilliant location

solved our flat tyre fiasco

We have been camping all over Italy the last month and found this campsite to be hardly worthy of two stars. The staff is unfriendly and did not even care that the womens bathroom had no toilet paper. The camper pitches are almost impossible to get in to. The women's bathroom only had one normal toilet. There is nowhere to put your belongings when showering or s place to plug a hairdryer in. The internet only works from the terrace. The two stars is for the location and the view. Very over priced.

Needs a total makeover

15 years ago, I visited thjs remarkable spot for the first time. I did not change really but somehow it's was more commercial, more expensive and crowded. The scenery still is great! The views magnificent. The tentcamp poor, the toilets as well. The staff though very friendy. But, instead of 4 nights we stayed just one. Why: crowded, bit dirty, very noisy, small place. One can hear everyone snoring. I'm to old I guess but our children (11 years) felt the same. So I keep the 15 year old memory.

Disappointed

The best location possible in Verona and kind welcome. Perfect for a romantic trip but not so good place for autocaravanes, wich have to camp next to the door listening the noise of traffic. They assigned us a place far from the point of light. A standard cable is not enough longer to solve this distance. We asked for an extender and they did not have it. I think they should have this kind of resources and hope our case make to buy one for future guests  Good views are not everything, even being the best views :-)
