Villa Gentile

Just come back from Villa Gentile, stayed a week. Rooms cleaned every day, large tv, fridge and air con. Beds very comfortable, hairdryer in bathroom. Try and get a room with a balcony if you can, although these are limited. Food is very good, all portion sizes are good including childrens. Pizzas are fabulous and if you can't eat it all you can have it boxed up to take away. Need to book table or get there early as restaurant is very busy with queue trailing down the road most nights. We did try other places to eat but was drawn back to the hotel. Plenty of shops and a large supermarket selling everything from food, shoes, beach stuff and household bits. Beach is very nice and we went there every day, sadly the hotel does not have a swimming pool. The hotel will arrange for you to be picked up and dropped back to the airport if you require this service. We used this service, cost is 100.00 euros for six of us each way. If not it's two buses and takes a couple of hours. Would go back to stay in the future, although my sister and her husband have been going to this hotel for over twenty years and can see why.
