When we arrived at Stanze Barrocche our hosts welcomed us with a beautiful selection of Sicilian sweets and coffee. While we ate we ate we were given a bit of a art history lesson regarding the sites in the region. Since we didn't have our own car we were offered lifts to the picturesque towns of Ragusa and Scicli . Delphina recommended a beautiful cafe for a traditional Modica meal.This is just an example of the generosity of our hostess and host. The room was immaculate, quiet and small but comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and abundant. I would highly recommend Stanze Barroche . I hope to return.
