We found ourselves staying at the Hotel Europa by accident due to massive problems with our vehicle, and although it was probably not somewhere I would have chosen, we were more than  happy with the service we received.  As mentioned by other reviewers, Abramo, the owner, went out of his way to help us in the awful situation we found ourselves in.  The hotel itself looks very smart, breakfast was fine, our bedroom and bathroom were fine, but Abramo is a gem.

The kindness of strangers

room ok, spacious and apparently clean .. besides bed cover that didn't look fresh. 
the beds tired and squeaky and uncomfortable.

breakfast room bright .. but 'buffet' an absolutely uninviting cheap and joy-free minimum 'offer'.. 
plus, the (cheap) paper set's on the tables used day after day although dirty. 
what a pity, would be so easy to improve, but probably no interested from owners' side .. so far.

The Hotel is located in a walkable distance to the train station of Lodi. An average hotel with very basic amenities. Restaurant located down stairs has limited space and has extremely limited spread. some contitental /English breakfast can be expected  nothing more. 
Internet is of acceptable speed and OK  to conduct your usual business. The hotel looks more of a lodge than a star rated hotel. The sorrounding's are very quiet and seems that the hotel is located in a residential area. some restaurants and Pizza shops are located nearby in a walking distance. There is a Turkish Restaurant providing some arabic /Iranian cuisine like kebab Rolls, Grills  etc. 
The Hotel is suited for Business Travellers on short visits. not recommended for long stays.

Average Hotel near to train station

Hotel Europa provides great accommodation for a business trip. Hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating. The surrounding community is very quiet and appears to be quite safe. This is ideal for the business professional who may need to prepare business documents in the comfort of his/her hotel room. 

Hotel Europa is within walking distance of the train station in Lodi and is less than an hour from Milan. 

The provision of free wireless internet service is also makes it a convenient hotel for business professionals.

Good Destination for Business Trips

I'm not sure how this hotel has 3 stars. The rooms were old and only moderately clean, the breakfast was horrible, on the first morning they only had sweet breads, on the second morning we came down a bit later (8:45am) there was almost nothing left only a few slices of cake, on the third morning there were still a couple of croissants left but we realized that those few slices of cake were the same slices as 2 days ago (pastries weren't even fresh). The dining room was always dirty. On one night I went out with a few local friends for drinks and arrived at 1 am, all the lights were off and the doors were locked, after a moments panic I noticed there was a door bell which I had to ring 3 times to get an answer, it was the guy from the front desk in pajamas and yawning, and he looked so put out of his way that I woke him up. And as mentioned by others there is zero soundproofing, you can hear the people upstairs and next door.
